Warner Bros. Japan LLC has announced that production is currently
underway on Suicide Squad ISEKAI, an all-new original anime series based on the
characters from DC. The news was announced today at Anime Expo 2023 during a special
panel presented by Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio, the celebrated Japanese studio
behind notable anime series such as SPY x FAMILY and Ranking of Kings.
Produced by Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio, Suicide Squad ISEKAI will be directed by
Eri Osada from screenplays by Tappei Nagatsuki (Re-Zero – Starting Life in Another World)
and Eiji Umehara (Vivy – Fluorite Eye’s Song).
The announcement art featuring Harley Quinn in the ISEKAI style comes from the
internationally recognized manga artist, Akira Amano (REBORN!).
