Doom Patrol makes it’s debut on the DC Universe streaming service February 15th and a new trailer has been released to kick things off! For those who have watched Titans then you’ve already met the team of Robot Man (Brenden Fraser), Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), Elasti-Girl (April Bowlby), Negative Man (Matt Bomer), and The Chief (Timothy Dalton). However, the team will be getting a new member in the form of Cyborg (Joivan Wade) in this series. Yes, we all know he’s not a member of the team in the comics but he seems to fit perfectly with these characters from what we see in this trailer. Along with Cyborg there’s also a glimpse of the show’s villain, Mr. Nobody played by Alan Tudyk!
The trailer moves pretty quickly but shows off some of that same energy the group gave us in Titans and then some. The first season will be 15 episodes according to the count on the DC Universe site. So prepare to sit back and check out Doom Patrol on February 15th!
Doom Patrol Synopsis:
Doom Patrol is a reimagining of one of DC’s strangest group of outcasts: Robotman, Crazy Jane, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, Cyborg & The Chief. Led by the mysterious Dr. Niles Caulder they’re called into action by the ultimate hero for the digital age, Cyborg. Banding together these rejects find themselves on a mission that will take them to the weirdest and most unexpected corners of the DC universe.
