After all of the teasers, concept art, and posters, the Black Widow movie is almost here and from the looks of this trailer it just might have been worth the wait to see Scarlet Johanson in her highly anticipated solo film for her breakout character!
Due to how things ended for Natasha in Avengers: Endgame the film obviously is a prequel of sorts and takes place between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. The trailer shows off our first look at Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, and the assassin, Taskmaster! There’s several great looking action sequences and the the film seems to have a “family” theme to it as Natasha is attempting to figure some things out in her life. Which has her looking to her past for some answers.
Since the film takes place in Budapest will we finally get to know what happened there? Fans have been waiting to know about those events first mentioned between her and Hawkeye way back in Avengers!
Black Widow will kick off Phase 4 in May 2020!
