Today is the day many fans have been waiting for as the legendary and groundbreaking Milestone Comics makes its long awaited return! However, that’s not all, as DC has released the names of the creative teams who will be bringing the classic characters back and they are some of the hottest and most talented storytellers in comics today!
Along with the previous news regarding the first wave of new Milestone comics, we were treated to some jaw-dropping character designs of Virgil Hawkins (a.k.a. Static) and Francis Stone (a.k.a. Hot Streak) by Nikolas Draper-Ivey! Now we finally get to see who will be a part of the creative team bringing these characters into the modern era.
STATIC SEASON ONE will be written by Vita Ayala with layouts by ChrisCross and finishes by Nikolas Draper-Ivey and covers by Khary Randolph. The sparks will fly digitally on Monday, April 11th!
Hardware Season One comes to us via Brandon Thomas, with art by Denys Cowan and Bill Sienkiewicz, with covers by Mateus Mahanini. The adventures of Curtis Metcalf begin Monday, August 15th
Icon and Rocket Season One will be written by Reginald Hudlin and Leon Chills, with art by Doug Braithwaite and covers by Taurin Clarke. The premiere duo will debut digitally Monday, June 27!
