The casting news of the Inhumans live-action television show has been leading up to this moment as fans have been waiting to see who gets the role of King Blackagar Boltagon also known as Black Bolt. He’s the ruler of the Royal Family whose smallest whisper can level a mountain. It’s because of this immense power that he’s not the most talkative guy in the Marvel Universe. So to bring his royal highness to life on the small screen, Anson Mount has been cast to play Black Bolt. The Hell on Wheels star will join Iwan Rheon from Game of Thrones who will be playing the silent King’s brother Maximus the Mad.
Showrunner and Executive Producer Scott Buck says, “Black Bolt is a character whose deep complexity must be conveyed without uttering a single word, and I’m very excited to have Anson on board to bring him to life.”
Marvel’s Inhumans ABC series will also be getting an IMAX release but how this affects any MCU plans involving the Inhuman Royal Family is yet to be seen.
Fear the Walking Dead will also be returning to the small screen for it’s third season and we’ve got some early photos and a synopsis of what’s to come!
As “Fear the Walking Dead” returns for season three, our families will be brought together in the vibrant and violent ecotone of the U.S.-Mexico border. International lines done away with following the world’s end, our characters must attempt to rebuild not only society, but family as well. Madison (Kim Dickens) has reconnected with Travis (Cliff Curtis), her apocalyptic partner, but Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) has been fractured by her murder of Andres. Madison’s son mere miles from his mother, Nick’s (Frank Dillane) first action as a leader saw Luciana (Danay Garcia) ambushed by an American militia group — the couple escaped death, but Nick no longer feels immortal. Recovering both emotionally and physically, Strand (Colman Domingo) has his sights set on harnessing the new world’s currency, and Ofelia’s (Mercedes Mason) captivity will test her ability to survive and see if she can muster the savagery of her father.
Fear the Walking Dead will return this summer with 16 brand new episodes for the third season!
