Ever since Warner Bros./DC released their slate of movies for the next six years, eyes immediately turned to Marvel to see what they were going to do next. Well, today is a day many have been waiting for ever since Marvel Phase One began! Fans have been tirelessly connecting the dots and picking apart the films in hopes of predicting future storylines or characters that may either appear or even headline their own films. Speculations from Civil War, to Planet Hulk, and even the Infinity Gauntlet storylines have all been on the radar of millions of comic fans around the globe. Things even kicked into overdrive when the teaser trailer for Avengers 2: Age of Ultron was released and even more hints were thrown out. Today Marvel puts some of those speculations to rest and even validates some as they made their Phase 3 announcements public!
So, without further adieu, here’s your Marvel Phase 3 line up!
Here it is and it looks as if the next few years are going to quite busy as far as superhero films are concerned. Also, many people will be patting themselves on their backs for connecting the dots and guessing correctly. For those that are wondering the Captain Marvel in question will be Carol Danvers and the only casting news announced was that Chadwick Boseman will be playing the role of T’Challa/Black Panther along with some concept art of the character as well!

I will happily watch EVERY SINGLE ONE of these movies.
Chadwick Boseman is AWESOME. I do hope that since he never got to play the role outside of the voice-over work, they throw a nod to Djimon Honsou by letting him play T’Challa’s father T’Chaka.
Also, Super excited about a Doctor Strange movie. Hope it rocks.
A LOT of people want Honsou to play T’Chaka (which would be PERFECT!) but keep saying that since he was in Guardians that it can’t happen.
I keep hearing that Boseman is a great actor but I haven’t seen 42 or Get On Up so I guess I’ll have to check those out sometime soon.
