Do you know what the comic industry could always use? More talented creators bringing new and exciting stories to the masses, and that’s exactly what Glass Eye Studios is set on doing! Brought to us from Joanne Starer and Khary Randolph through Substack, Glass Eye Studios will be a home to upcoming creator-owned works.
Two titles are already lined up, the first is Sirens of the City and will be written by Starer with art by Randolph. The story is set in 1980s New York and in the preview, we see teen runaway, Layla, whose supernatural pregnancy brings about some shocking results! What does this mean for her and the child? Well, I guess we’ll have to check out Sirens of the City to see how this ends!
The next title is A Way From Here, which will be written by Starer and art by GABO. This one drops later this year, taking place in the days leading up to the Holocaust and centers four teenagers from various backgrounds who live in Vienna.
