Wolverine, born James Howlett but commonly known as Logan, is a mutant who possesses heightened senses, retractable bone claws that can protrude from his fists, enhanced physical abilities, and a healing factor that not only heals wounds and protects him from toxins, but also has extended his lifespan beyond any normal human. Having the indestructible metal alloy adamantium bonded to his bones and claws along with a true fighting spirit makes Wolverine one tough dude. Cue the “I’m the best there is at what I do, but what I do isn’t very nice,” catch phrase.
Packaging: Glossy 4-color box with a close-up of the maquette in front of a Danger Room background on the front. The X-Men: Evolution logo is above the statue, along with “Wolverine” along the bottom of the panel, just in case you don’t know who he is. (Seriously, who doesn’t know Wolverine?) The back of the box has images of other maquettes available in the series, including Cyclops, Storm, Professor X, Captain America, Magneto, and Juggernaut (Colossus has also been released).
Assembly: None; he’s ready to display right out of the box.
The Statue: Standing 11” tall (with base), Wolverine snarls at you in his orange and black costume from the X-Men: Evolution animated series. He’s wearing his signature shaped mask with the pointed “ears” (as I like to call them), leaving just his mouth and chin exposed, where you can see a little bit of scruff along Wolverine’s jaw. Orange covers his shoulders and does a “V” into his belt, with black filling in the rest of the torso. Orange gloves cover his closed fists, claws are unsheathed and ready to go. The belt has an X-shaped belt buckle, and black pants go into knee-high orange boots with black straps.
Slightly different from the rest of the line, Wolverine has a bit more of a dynamic pose. Standing upright with feet little more than shoulder-width apart, his torso is twisted towards his right, with his arms slightly bent and fists clenched. A furrowed brow and toothy grimace on his face, and you know you shouldn’t mess with him.
Rating: 4.9 out of 5; really good paint job, simple and sharp. Maquette is well sculpted. Fans of the show (like me!) will love this.

You’re missing out, Andy. It was really cool to see Jean, Scott, Kitty, Nightcrawler, etc. as students again. Of course, Wolverine wasn’t nearly as rough and tumble as usual, but he did pretty well as a “teacher.”
I think I have seen a few early episodes. I seem to recall I went something like “Oh my gosh, what is this crap.” 🙂 I think I was just kind of annoyed at the time by how they were trying to revamp everything for a younger audience, and were screwing up with continuity, etc. Probably around the same time the first X-Men film came out, and I was groaning about how the ages of characters were all screwed up because they wanted everyone to be kids.
The Evolution show for me was terrible at first but as it pressed on it did get alot better. Wolverine and the X-men is waaay good. I dont particularly care for Xavier being in the future but everything else is cool. BTW the figure looks good to. lol
the statue looks very good actually and the paint job is excellent i didn’t see any bleed at all
I like the character designs of the evolution characters, and this statue looks great. I’m not a fan of the cartoon though. The dialogue is too reminiscent of the Fox series from the early 90’s.

I like usually like seeing new ways of looking at characters, so Evolution was really cool. Of course, I was in high school at the time, so I could *ahem* “relate”, so to speak.
