The Justice League is the team to be on in the DC Universe. Most of the popular super heroes have served on it at one time or another, including the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, various Green Lanterns, and countless others. So what do you do with that kind of power? Get your own figure line, of course!

The figures stand around 6.5” inches tall and come with a black base featuring the Justice League of America logo in gold. A hole in the right foot fits into a peg on the base.

Black Canary has on her black leotard with a gold zipper running down the center, black leather jacket, black gloves and black high-heeled boots (both with decorative gold squares), and her sexy fishnet stockings – made of real fabric! Her blond hair is down and wavy, which does restrict her head movement.

Vixen is sporting her modern look, with a yellow jumpsuit and totem necklace. Her belt features fanged teeth detail, and her gold zipper-grip and bracelets are loose and jangle around. Vixen’s animal affinity is slightly portrayed through her hands, which are outstretched into claws.

Hawkgirl comes with an accessory – her trusty mace! She’s clad in a green and yellow top, green pants, shiny red boots with gold striping, arm guards, upper arm bands, and signature hawk mask. Her wings are detailed, down to the feathers! Unfortunately, the wings throw the balance off, and the figure takes a little bit of patience to get her to stand alone.

Wonder Woman is wearing her bathing-suit-style outfit, with blue bottom half decorated with white stars, and red strapless top, half with her large yellow logo adorning the top edge. The outfit is completed with red high-heeled boots with white striping, silver arm guards, tiara, and her golden lasso! The lasso is actually a gold string hanging off her hip, but that’s still cool.

High Points: Designed by Ed Benes, these figures are beautiful. Costumes are straight out of the ongoing Justice League of America comic book series. The paint jobs are great; even Vixen’s finger nails are painted! The sculpts are pretty good, with textured hair, feathers, and realistic wrinkling of clothing.

Low Points: There’s not a whole lot of pose-ability. Yes, there are multiple points of articulation, but really, these figures are made for display, not for setting up epic battle scenes in your living room. Wonder Woman’s sculpt seems a little off from the rest of the line, and looks a little odd next to the others.

Overall: 4 out of 5 – good figures and a really nice line. I would like to have more posing options, considering there are multiple points of articulation, but eh, can’t get everything I want – otherwise I’d have my own comic store and a hot guy to dress up as my favorite super heroes. : )
