He’s got a new series by Ta-Nehisi Coates and Brian Stelfreeze flying off the shelves. His first live action appearance coming up in Captain America: Civil War and now the King of Wakanda, Black Panther, gets his own premium sixth scale figure from Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectables! He’s joining other characters such as Captain America, Falcon, Vision, Iron Man, Winter Soldier and more in this Civil War collection.
This Black Panther figure is insanely detailed and is based off of the version we’ll see in his upcoming live screen debut. The sculpt shows off the fine vibranium mesh suit along with the claws and decorative pieces of the costume. The mask is most impressive and the overall figure has up to 30 parts of articulation. Black Panther also comes with three pairs of interchangeable hands along with the Captain America: Civil War stand.
You can preorder your Sixth Scale Black Panther here!
For those of you looking to beef up your Justice League roster then you’ll want to pick up the new DC Icons Cyborg Justice League Forever Evil Action Figure! This sculpt by Paul Harding is based off of Cyborg’s current look in the series by David Walker and Ivan Reis.
This is another example of Harding’s great work and a figure that should take up some of your shelf space when it comes out later this year in October. There’s some great detail in this sculpt and looks to be one of the best looking of the DC Icons figures. Cyborg also comes with a generator complete with cables along with interchangeable arms and hands.
For those of you that like your figures of the smaller variety here’s some new Minimates celebrating the X-Men roster that changed the game! That’s right, the team that made it’s debut in Giant Sized X-Men #1 and paved the way for some of the best stories in the franchise.
The two-packs will be Thunderbird and Wolverine, Colossus and Nightcrawler, Storm and Sunfire, and finally Cyclops and Banshee which will be available this coming August. We also get new costumes and interchangeable parts to go with the display stands as well. It’s also very hard for me not to say anything bad about Cyclops so we’ll just get to the next group of Minimates…
On the heels of the Bloodshot and X-O Manowar Minimates here comes Valiant’s next duo, Ninjak and Shadowman! These guys were announced several months ago but just in case you need a reminder, well here it is! Sporting interchangeable parts, weapons, and stands these two are the hottest thing since their pairing in the Operation: Deadside story that just wrapped! So hit up your local Toys ‘R’ Us and grab yours!
The next item to occupy your shelf space is from one of the best comic series to ever come out, Locke & Key! That fantastic series from Joe Hill, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Jay Fotos brought to us from IDW! This Locke & Key: Bode Mini-Bust looks like it was pulled directly from the pages of book and put directly on your shelf. This piece was designed by Israel Skelton and Gabriel Rodriguez and the sculpt is by Troy McDevitt.
The Locke & Key: Bode Mini-Bust will start shipping out in October and for more info you can go to SkeltonCrew.com!
There’s some nice shelf candy in that list right there so make sure you’ve got space for everything!
