Get ready for free running, stabbing, time transference, and hopefully a great live action adaptation of the Assassin’s Creed video game starring Michael Fassbender!
The film centers on Callum Lynch, played by Fassbender, who will be able to relive the life and adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. He’s a descendant of a secret society known as the Assassins who are still battling against the evil Templar in the present day.
Assassin’s Creed will be in theaters December 21, 2016 and also stars Jeremy Irons (Batman v Superman), Marion Cotillard Dark Knight Rises), Brendan Gleeson (Edge of Tomorrow), Michael K. Williams (The Wire), and is directed by Justin Kurrzel.
