The mysterious Ultimate Comics Enemy mini-series debuts on Wednesday and the focus of this story, by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Rafa Sandoval, has been pretty “hush-hush” to date. Check out a preview below:
Well, the art looks ok to me and strongly resembles that of David Lafuente who pencils Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, which I dig. I’m not sure what the hell is going on here; a building has collapsed? A huge cloud of purple misty stuff? What is this, Ghostbusters 2? I have no idea, but apparently the ultimate evil will be showing their face in this series (whatever that means), and if the cover is any indication of what we can expect on the inside, Iceman is going to be involved which is always a plus in my book. Although, doesn’t this preview remind you a lot of Ultimatum? Anyway, one thing is for sure: when it comes to the Ultimate Universe, I trust Brian Michael Bendis. Hopefully he and Rafa won’t disappoint!

Ultimatum was the first thing I thought of when I saw the damage but that cover looks like everyone is watching Aunt May give a lap dance lol
If that was the secret enemy of the Ultimate U (Aunt May’s REAL job), I may have to take a cheese grater to my face.
I’d throw Aunt May a couple bucks. 🙂
