Almost three months ago, we showed you the cover of the upcoming original graphic novel (OGN), Dionysus Wept from Arcana Studios! The writer, Eric C. Hayes, is a regular visitor here at ComicAttack.net, and we are happy to show off the first [unlettered] preview images to be released of the book, plus an exclusive black and white page showcasing a never-before-seen character! All art is by Marc Borstel. Here’s the gist of the story:

“The series “seeks to expand the reader’s internal universe with Nazi-era eugenics experimentation, brutal murder and psychedelic mind travel,” to quote the press release. Dionysus Wept is being described as a cross between Boys From Brazil and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas that will “have comic fans questioning reality itself.””

Now for the exclusive, never before seen page featuring a new character!

Marc Borstel also worked with Eric C. Hayes on The Outer Space Men; a sci-fi story with a classic feel, that will be reviewed here at ComicAttack.net very soon. Dionysus Wept will be released in two volumes, the first of which debuts at San Diego Comic Con 2011!
