As they close in on Damian’s body, Team Robin and Cyborg catch up to a grieving Batman, who has decided to use all of Apokolips as his own personal hunting grounds. Peter Tomasi is doing an absolutely amazing job building this story. Each issue is fantastically written, and the pacing of this event has been terrific as well, with every issue slowly building to the approaching finale. As good as the writing has been, Patrick Gleason, Mick Gray, and John Kalisz absolutely steal the show. The three of them illustrate a spectacular book here, filled to the brim with action. This issue is titled “Chaos,” but could have very well been called “Batman Unleashed” and it would still have been the perfect title. 4.5/5
Teen Titans #4

It seems that 2014 just isn’t the year for keeping the Bat-Men’s secret identity, well, a secret. With every month that passes, it seems yet another character is uncovering that Batman is Bruce Wayne, Forever Evil revealed Dick Grayson’s identity to the whole world, and now Tim Drake has found himself in a predicament where someone knows his identity. It’s a seemingly minor detail, however, given how close the Bat Family is, both in and out of the costume, it’s just a peculiar fact that so many people know the identities of some of the most secretive superheroes in comics. Meanwhile in the actual comic, Red Robin ends up getting tricked into joining up with S.T.A.R. Labs, Wonder Girl’s mother is in town, and there’s a gang of women dressed up as Wonder Girl roaming the streets. The secret identity bit aside, Will Pfeifer is doing a great job with this reboot. He has multiple plot threads running simultaneously and seemingly unconnected to one another, so it will be interesting to see them develop and maybe even overlap in the future. 4/5
