Batman and Robin Eternal goes international as Team Robin splits up to solve the mystery behind who Mother is and what she is trying to accomplish. While there have been slightly slower issues, for the most part this series has been consistently good. The tension between Dick and Tim seems a tad over the top considering they haven’t been shown to have a particularly close relationship in the New DC Universe. However, Jason and Tim’s relationship is an added benefit to the story. The only particularly unsatisfying aspect to the story so far is that we still know so very little about Mother. Practically nothing is none about her or her motives and coupled on top of that is the fact that Bruce lied about yet another thing to his Bat Family. Admittedly we’re only about a quarter of the way through, but hopefully the next issue will shed some light on Mother. 3.5/5
