Welcome back to our third installment of the Christmas Cover Bonanza! Before we begin, I’d like to share a brief reflective about this Holiday season…
The Holidays always bring out the best in people and the 3.8 million citizens of Los Angeles are definitely no exception. This is my first Christmas here away from snowy Buffalo, NY, and on the whole LA typically gets a bad wrap; it’s dirty, short tempered, and full of citizens who want you to mind your own business. But this time of year, LA breaks the (very misleading) consensus and the human side of her people truly come to light. I’ve watched a man hold the elevator down to the train station for a running woman (something practically unheard of). On the bus you can see an old black woman laughing at the jokes of a young asian college kid. The hipster is talking comics with the 40-something latino dude. You see the vagabonds and minstrels playing their instruments on the train, creating music that even the guy wearing a macho leather jacket with sunglasses on (inside) can’t help but bob his head to.
You see people just being people during this time of year and it’s an awesome sight to behold.
Anyway, I guess what I’m trying to say is- Happy Holidays. No matter who you are, no matter where you’re from or what you’re doing now, spread the gift of happiness. Smile. Breathe. Go with the flow.
Now onto more covers!

It would be great if people were so considerate EVERY day of the year, instead of one week a year. I guess we can’t have everything.
I think the gold here in this batch is the Colossus-Alf on the Alf Christmas cover. Also did anyone notice something a little…”off” about that Glory Christmas cover?
This one has been my favorite batch so far.
“and full of citizens who want you to mind your own business.” – YES. I think the gun toting Santas is my fav followed by the Spiderman parade balloon.
@ Drew: If you’re talking about how it seems like she’s holding something other than a “carrot” and “snowballs” then yes lol 🙂 The two men in the background are rapt with attention while the little boy just wants to talk to Santa haha.
That “Creepy” cover gives me the willy’s.
Yeah that Glory cover is so full of inuendo it shouldn’t be a Christmas cover lol
Simply havin’ a wonderful Christmas time!
