All New X-Factor #7 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: This title has been officially added to my pull list now!
Amazing Spider-Man #1.1 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: I forgot how long Spidey’s TV career was but it’s interesting to go back.
Infinite Speech: Decent issue but I’ve decided to avoid the whole point one books if I can help it.
Jeff: A great throw-back to the Lee/Ditko days. Slott and Perez do good job of making this feel old, yet new.
Angelica Tomorrow #1 (215 Ink)
Infinite Speech: NOTHING says friendship like surprise spinal surgery! This series is starting off really strong!
Aprodite IX #10 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: This series just keeps getting more intense.
Archer & Armstrong #20 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: Hotel California played in my head while I read this and it’s good to see that Jim Morrison has found a way to block Archer’s abilities.
Jeff: This book is a perfect blend of action, adventure, and wackiness.
Bad Blood #5 (Dark Horse)
Jeff: So, vampires polluted the earth in order to make human blood bad so they could take over the world? Those vampires aren’t very smart.
Batman: Detective Comics #31 (DC)
Martin: 5/5 stars. A really cool cover and beautiful interior art with a very engaging detective type story. Great stuff.
Batman Eternal #5 (DC)
Arnab: Yay, Red Robin is back in town
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Some cool bits with Red Robin, and a great cover by Andy Kubert. Hard to keep up the weekly pace, though.
Batman/Superman #10 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. Lemire pens a fun stand-alone story that references his other titles & introduces Ray Palmer to the New 52.
Batwing #31 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Good ole fashioned superheroing right here but I really feel bad for the Fox family here.
Black Dynamite #2 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: Too much time between issues but it’s so worth it. Dynomite! Dynomite!
Black Widow #6 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: “a black widow, dangling by herself on a single thread is a deadly thing” is a fantastic line.
Jeff: Edmondson has layered this book so that there are credible mysteries and intrigue that will keep me around for issues to come!
Cyberforce #9 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: The story is great but I’d like a more tech friendly visual style in my Cyborgs.
Cyclops #1 (Marvel)
Arnab: Cyclops in space! This book is fantastic!
Infinite Speech: I had my doubts but then I had my fun. Hopefully this will be a limited series though.
Jeff: This book was just plain awesome! If you miss when Cyclops was great, then pick this up!
Fatale #22 (Image)
Dr. Bustos: A dark back story for a character who would have the nastiest. Disturbing but insightful.
Future’s End #1 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. Fun start to this new weekly series, but works better with the free #0 issue. See my full review @ComicAttack.
Green Arrow #31 (DC)
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. Excellent end to the Outsiders War arc & nicely sets up the next arc in Seattle. See my review @ComicAttack.
Iron Fist: The Living Weapon #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: I will officially stop complaining about the previous Iron Fist title being canceled because this one is freaking awesome!
Jeff: I’m pretty sure watching your mom get killed by wolves will mess you up.
Loki: Agent of Asgard #4 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: I tend to love when ancient myth meets modern day, this is no exception.
Jeff: This book is funny, well-paced, and full of action. I’m loving it!
Magneto #3 (Marvel)
Jeff: You’ll never look at paper clips the same way.
Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man #1 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: it was great to see Miles back in costume.
Infinite Speech: Miles and Ganke banter is some of the best now can we get the witty shirts back now?
Jeff: Huh? Peter Parker?
The Movement #12 (DC)
Dr. Bustos: Good bye, you were fun while you lasted.
New Warriors #4 (Marvel)
Jeff: There’s just something about this book that I’m just not getting. I wish I liked it more.
Original Sin #1 (Marvel)
Arnab: I liked this. I don’t know why Wolverine is there, but I liked this nevertheless.
Infinite Speech: I really want to see Mike Deodato draw Boyz II Men singing at Uatu’s funeral.
Jeff: I like that this event centers around a murder. I’m excited about where this will go.
The Punisher #5 (Marvel)
Jeff: I keep thinking that this story arc will be finished, but then they keep pulling me in.
Rat Queens #6 (Image)
Infinite Speech: Wiebe & Upchurch make sure to kick so much ass every issue and that last panel was one crazy surprise!
Revelations #5 (BOOM!)
Jeff: Charlie gets closer to the truth, but more people end up dead. I’m thinking this is not a successful investigation.
Savage Wolverine #18 (Marvel)
Jeff: Was I supposed to know what was going on in this book? Skip this one, folks.
She-Hulk #4 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Love that Jennifer and Matt team up for talking and fighting.
Spawn #243 (Image)
Infinite Speech: Kudransky & McFarlane are the perfect team for the direction that Spawn is headed in now!
The Wake #8 (DC/Vertigo)
Arnab: I fucking love this book.
Jeff: I might need to re-read this because there are some things I did not understand. I don’t understand anything with Vivienne.
Martin: 4/5 stars. Some interesting developments about the Mers & some cool flying ships. Plus Murphy’s & Hollingsworth’s awesome art.
The Woods #1 (BOOM!)
Infinite Speech: Never stand by the window when you’re whisked away to an unknown dimension. Never!
Martin: 4/5 stars. Really nice debut to what looks like a fun series. Teens & teachers caught on an off-world planet for experiments.
X-Men: No More Humans OGN (Marvel)
Jeff: Instead of events, Marvel should consider this type of long-form storytelling. This was great!
