7 Warriors #1 (BOOM!)
Andy: Pretty art, but lots of scary words.
Action Comics #3 (DC)
Andrew: Still the most interesting Clark Kent/Superman we’ve seen since Geoff Johns left Action Comics. This issue was a bit slow, but business is rapidly picking up!
Andy: Really wish this issue was all about Krypton. I was into it, and Krypto actually looked killer.
NickZ: I am not loving the art in this book and the story is only so-so. Morrison needs to step up his game.
Amazing Spider-Man #673 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Well I knew the fall out from Spider Island would be awesome! Slott is writing his ass off and helping clear the mess from OMD in the process!
Jeff: So…many…good…things…to say…head exploding…love…Slott & Caselli…Spider-Man…soooo good!
American Vampire #20 (Vertigo)
Andy: What!? This story arc is over next issue? Total bummer.
Arnab: And just like that, a new breed of vampire is born.
Capekiller: I couldn’t get past how bad the art was!
Jeff: More backstory on the origins of American vampires, and things are looking rough for Skinner and Jim.
Animal Man #3 (DC)
Andrew: I should have done more drugs before reading this issue…but it was still AWESOME!
Andy: What Andrew said. Still my #1 title of the relaunch/boot!
Avengers Academy #21 (Marvel)
Capekiller: West Coast Jr. Avengers Academy….not bad. When did Lightspeed from Power Pack get so hot?
Andy: Great jumping on point for this book. This is the “Teen Titans” of Marvel, only better.
Batwing #3 (DC)
Andrew: Just when I thought this book couldn’t get more awesome, it does. And now I’m dying to learn more about the mystery they’re building.
Infinite Speech: One of the few new titles from DC that’s strong in terms of art AND story! Definitely worth the time and money to pick this one up!
NickZ: A superhero book that doesn’t feel like a superhero book (in the best possible way).
Andy: Way cool. Batwing better stick around for awhile.
The Boys #60 (Dynamite)
Andy: If you only read one comic from Dynamite, make it this one. It will blow your fuckin’ mind.
Detective Comics #3 (DC)
Andrew: I just don’t think Tony Daniel is a very strong writer. The story concept is somewhat intriguing, but I basically forced myself to finish this issue and still didn’t care about any if it by the end.
Andy: Wait a second. Just how old is Commissioner Gordon, anyway? …and why does Batman sit in a chair shaped as his cowl?
Arnab: I don’t know what’s more troubling, a psychopath that cuts people up, including their faces, or a little girl that has no problem with murder. Great story, amazing art.
NickZ: A pretty gross villain,a pretty great story, plus some amazing art! Nuff said!
Fear Itself #7.1 (Marvel)
Arnab: I knew it wasn’t going to last the minute it happened and I don’t mind it at all.
Andy: Who was Marvel trying to fool? Given the media blitz surrounding the death of Human Torch, and no fanfare for Bucky? We’re not fucktards, Marvel.
Fear Itself: The Fearless #2 (Marvel)
Andy: So the heroes just got done fighting the Serpent and already they’re threatening to fight amongst themselves? C’mon already. Luckily, Crossbones is cool.
Arnab: These fools need a lesson on what it means to be friends and why that’s not the same as being enemies.
Green Arrow #3 (DC)
Andy: Not bad, but wasn’t this a story line in the second to last arc of Supergirl from the DC Old Universe?
Arnab: Decent start, but I want some more insight into what Oliver Queen is like.
Heart #1 (Image)
Andrew: Captures the spirit of Mixed Martial Arts with all the drama and great art you could ask for in a comic book.
Invincible #84 (Skybound)
NickZ: Just when you think you know what’s going to happen, Kirkman makes a quick left and keeps you guessing. I support Mark’s decision even though I know it will probably end up biting him in the ass.
Jack Avarice is the Courier #1 (IDW)
Andy: Thought I would hate it, and actually thought it was a fun read. The art isn’t helping though, and leaves much to be desired.
Justice League International #3 (DC)
NickZ: This book is on the verge of becoming one of my favorites. I hope it continues getting stronger and stronger with each new issue, as it has been.
Last of the Greats #2 (Image)
Andy: Yep. Josh Fialkov is a sick sonofabitch.
Arnab: Wow, this issue was great. This takes “taking the kids to the beach” to a whole new level.
Men of War #3 (DC)
Andy: WHO THE HELL ARE THESE GUYS FIGHTING!? Man, this book is the biggest “fail” of the relaunch. WTF.
New Mutants #33 (Marvel)
Capekiller: So what, the New Mutants are West Coast X-Factor now? I feel my pull list getting lighter……..
Jeff: This book is struggling. I should like this, but for some reason I just don’t.
NickZ: This was the only book where the mutants picking sides actually had valid reasons. Also, am I the only one grossed out by whatever is going on between Nate and Hope?
Andy: The hell was this? Dani Moonstar’s cool… that’s about it. And that’s saying something if your coolest character has no powers.
Our Love Is Real #1 (Image)
Andy: Easily the indie read of the week. Fans of The Boys can get into it, no problem. What happens? People marry animals and now objectophilia is running rampant! AWESOME!
Peanuts #0 (Kaboom!)
Andy: Yep, sign me up for this one. It was pure Peanuts warm and fuzzy! But give me more Pig Pen.
Infinite Speech: I had more fun reading it than my 5 yr old did!
Spawn #213 (Image)
Infinite Speech: A great redirection for a classic title and that last page is just creepy as hell!
Static Shock #3
Infinite Speech: A hero is only as good as his villains. Stop giving Static $#@% scrubs to take down that no one cares about!
The Strange Talent of Luther Strode #2 (Image)
Arnab: Holy crap this book is all kinds of awesome. If you see this on the stands the next time you’re in the store, pick it up! Not only is Luther awesome, but newly introduced Petra is a show stealing kinda gal.
Supernatural #2 (DC)
Arnab: The story was decent. The art, on the other hand, was terrifying, and not in a good way.
Swamp Thing #3
Arnab: This book is easily becoming on of my favorite books DC is putting out. It’s definitely my favorite non-Bat universe book.
Andy: Slow builds are fine and all, but it would be cool if Swamp Thing actually showed up.
Sweet Tooth #27 (Vertigo)
Andy: What’s that you say? You’re loving Animal Man? Than why in the name of a goat’s nuts aren’t you reading this book? It’s Jeff Lemire’s creator owned series and just as good!
Uncanny X-Men #1(Marvel)
Arnab: Fantastic start. I loved this issue. And I thought it did a great job of pointing out how Logan’s actions really just made everyone a little less safe.
Capekiller: Nice start, great extras. Okay Mr. Gillen, you have my attention!
Infinite Speech: Not a bad start and I found what happened to Emma to be quite hilarious.
Jeff: Hey, remember that “final issue?” Remember that “relaunch?” Marvel lied once again. Despite what the cover says, this is issue #545.
NickZ: This book, like Wolverine and the X-Men, was completely awesome! Regenesis is the best thing to happen to the X-Men in years!
Andy: Nicely done. Looks like Pacheco and Gillen are on pace to put the “uncanny” back in Uncanny X-Men.
Villains for Hire #0.1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Okay Abnett and Lanning, I’m back on board. Don’t make me regret it!
X-23 #16 (Marvel)
Arnab: I am loving X-23’s interaction with the FF. She’s starting to feel more like a well rounded character.
NickZ: The whole FF and Captain Universe thing was weird and totally doesn’t work well in this book.
Andy: Kind of a forced crossover here, but it’s working with elements Liu set up in the first story arc. Noto’s art is hot.
X-Men #20 (Marvel)
Arnab: I always thought it was just Tony Stark that was obnoxious. Apparently, it’s anyone in a metal suit. Go Colossus!
Capekiller: Colossus punches War Machine into next week!
Jeff: Nice to see a team of X-Men that doesn’t include Cyclops or Wolverine or Emma Frost.
NickZ: Another great Regenesis title! I loved the cast in this book and seeing Storm taking charge again and being a badass was so awesome.
Andy: Finally, this series puts out an issue that doesn’t blow ass! Isn’t Will Conrad’s art fucking great?

Chirp of the week goes to Arnab for Last of the Greats #2.
5 to 1 on Uncanny Jeff. You are clearly wrong!!!!!!!!!!
Uncanny PUKE! 5 TO 2, JEFF! I’VE GOT YOUR HARBOR MOON HATING BACK!
Batwing is the black Howard the Duck.
Aron didn’t chime in in the Chirps, so his vote has been officially struck from the record……
LOL!
No, I still count! I was there, am always there, in spirit.
The Chirp for Luther Strode looks like it’s a wee bit over 140 characters…just sayin’ lol
HA! I had to make up for you slackers not reading it. (didn’t actually notice it till you said it)
