Batwoman #5 (DC)
Andy: Great art, great story- just keep Kate Kane the hell out of Batman Inc.
Arnab: This book is one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever read.

Black Panther: The Most Dangerous Man Alive #528 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Great story by Liss but Oeming’s art doesn’t fit the tone to help carry the weight of it.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9 #5 (Dark Horse)
NickZ: Great issue, I wasn’t expecting that ending at all! Get it? “Expecting?”

Carnage USA #2 (Marvel)
Andy: Marvel horror done totally right.

Cobra Annual 2012: The Origin of Cobra Commander (IDW)
Infinite Speech: An all new Cobra Commander leads the organization and Dixon gives you everything you need to know about him right here! A must read!

Darkness #97 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: Quickly losing interest in this storyline and liking Jackie better in the other titles.

Doctor Who #13 (IDW)
Andy: Can Joshua Hale Fialkov make Andy give a shit about Doctor Who? After reading this issue, all signs point to “yes.”

Daken Dark Wolverine #19 (Marvel)
NickZ: Those Runaways are pretty cool, who knew they were so powerful?

Deadpool #49 (Marvel)
NickZ: So now that Deadpool knows he can die, I wonder if he still wants to?

Invincible #87 (Skybound)
NickZ: HOLY CRAP!! This series proves once again why it is amazeballs! The only way to sum up that ending: “Shit just got real!”

The Last of the Greats #4 (Image)
Andy: Joshua Fialkov- making comics you don’t show your mom since 2009. Oh yeah, and did you see the ComicAttack.net pull quote on the cover? Score!
Arnab: Holy Hell, that was freaking awesome!

Lobster Johnson: The Burning Hand #1 (Dark Horse)
Andy: Crime fiction/horror noir fans- Read this issue! Solid story and moody art make a winner.

Magneto Not A Hero #3 (Marvel)
Andy: The scene with Santo, Pixie and Anole was funny… good thing this ends at #4.
Capekiller: Wicked battle to start this issue off!  We need more Blob in 616.
Jeff: As much as I liked this issue, Magneto sure doesn’t sound like Magneto.
NickZ: Mags is a badass! I have a feeling Joseph is about to get his ass handed to him.

Mister Terriffic #5 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Just when the series was getting good I hear it’s getting cancelled. Guess I’ll wait for Mr. T to show up in a possible JSA title.

New Avengers #20 (Marvel)
Capekiller: Dark Avengers easily dismantle the New Avengers without Thing.  There is no way the public is wondering whether Osborn is good right now though!
Infinite Speech: Wolverine gets KNOCKED THE EFF OUT by Skaar & Skaar gets Iron-Fisted! Great issue from Bendis and Deodato!

The Ray #2 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Why are these minis a LOT better than the New 52 ongoing books? Gray, Palmiotti, and Igle are definitely bringing that old school comic fun to this title!

Sacrifice #2 (Self Published)
Andy: I would easily sacrifice $3.99 a month for this comic. Sam Humphries is the man and a cool dude to support.

Scalped #55 (Vertigo)
Andy: I have never been more turned on by two men beating the living fuck out of each other. Wowza!

Scarlet Spider #1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: A perfect first issue from Yost and Stegman! Too many good things to say about this new title and it was great seeing home again!
NickZ: Great first issue. Yost’s writing and Stegman’s pencils… ‘Nuff Said!

Severed #6 (Image)
Andy: This is the story of that creepy old pervy guy from Family Guy. Just kidding. It’s fucking scary.
Arnab: This takes everything great about Horror and combines it with everything terrifying about humans.

Snake Eyes #9 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: Snake Eyes vs an armored transport. Cobra better call for some back up!

Infinite Speech: This title made my Top 10 list for a reason and it shows in this issue here! Carlton and Kudranski do it yet AGAIN!

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic- War #1 (Dark Horse)
Andy: Seems like most Star Wars comics these days are beating a dead horse… a dead dark horse.

Superboy #5 (DC)
Arnab: Lois Lane was mentioned. And uh, I’ve said it before, Superboy looks like one of the most powerful beings on Earth.
NickZ: This would have been better if it came out before the last Teen Titans issue.

Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye #1 (IDW)
Andy: Never liked Transformers, but this #1 has gotten my full attention. Beautiful old school styled art and an interesting story make it work. Only thing is all these damn robots look the same.

Ultimate Comics X-Men #6 (Marvel)
Jeff: Please make it stop. Mutant genes are machines? WTF?

Whispers #1 (Image)
Andy: Excellent! One of my favorite indie creators, Joshua Luna of The Sword, breaks out on his own and it’s goooood.

Wolverine #300 (Marvel)
Andy: Cool story. Sucks Jason Aaron is leaving this title so soon. But does every freakin’ character in comics have to have a damn kid!?
Capekiller: Classic Wolverine tale with important new twists.
Jeff: If this is Jason Aaron’s last arc on this book, than I pity the fool who has to follow him. I loved every minute of this.
NickZ: Wow, lots of cool stuff going on in this issue. Looks like it’s going to be a fun year for Wolvie! Btw, how badass was Adam Kurbert’s cover? sheesh!

Wolverine and the X-Men #4 (Marvel)
Andy: Easily my top X-Men book right now. 3 of the Original 5 are back together, and it’s awesome.
Arnab: Hold on. Logan gets Warren Lobotomized and nobody cares? One day he’s running a business, funding the X-Men and X-Force and the next he’s enrolling in school and no one minds? WTF? “Uh, hey dude, weren’t you like one of the original X-Men and now you’re my lab partner, way cool.”
Capekiller: Story needs to start to progress a little more.  Nice surprise at the end!
Jeff: Ditto what I said above. This book is insanely awesome.
NickZ: This series continues to entertain. I love the new additions to the school and the future X-Men scene was pretty awesome too!

X-Factor #230 (Marvel)
Arnab: The way this story progressed was fantastic. Everything flowed from one page to another. Excellent!
Jeff: Holy cow, the colorist on this book did an awesome job! Everyone else did too, but those colors!
Capekiller: This team is great at fighting with themselves….
NickZ: OK, why the hell does Wolverine think he can just show up and take charge? I am glad to see Havok and Polaris back, though.

X-Men Legacy #260.1 (Marvel)
Arnab: So is this going to be how things go from now on? School gets attacked, students stay in class (even the ones who have fought on a team before) and Rogue borrows a million or two powers to fight the enemy?
Capekiller: Another great “0.1” issue.  The X-books seem to fit this format well.
Jeff: Gage and Baldeon make this book feel both old school and fresh. This really is a great jumping on point.
NickZ: This book seems to have gained a lot of the fun from being at the school which is a much needed improvement!
