NickZ: I love that the mutant, Avenger kids are standing with the X-Men while the mutants at Wolverine’s school do nothing.
Avengers vs. X-Men #4 (Marvel)
Arnab: You know what needs to happen? Someone needs to walk up to that loser Logan and rip off the “X” from his uniform. B
Infinite Speech: Good Idea: Wolverine wearing a dead polar bear, following a trail of beer cans. Bad Idea: The rest of this issue.
Jeff: Really? This is the best you could do? Why in the world would Hope trust Wolverine? SOOO stupid!
NickZ: Wolverine is a traitorous little bitch!
AvX VS. #2 (Marvel)
Arnab: This series throws reason and logic right out the door. And does Cap have super healing powers now? There’s a huge explosion and he comes out with just a tattered costume? WTF? C
Infinite Speech: Out of four fights Cap beating Gambit had the only decisive outcome. Like we didn’t see that coming.
Jeff: At least one X-Man won a fight, but this series is pretty ridiculous.
NickZ: Really? Only one X-Men has won in this series and it was a cop out ending. Please!
Batwoman #9 (DC)
Arnab: Trevor McCarthy keeps this issue afloat. I never imagined anyone from the Bat-family could be so unlikable. C
Dr. Bustos: This felt like set-up for what’s to come, not sure I’m a fan of the relationship drama. C+
Birds of Prey #9 (DC)
NickZ: Babs and Ivy kick ass in this book!
Blue Beetle #9 (DC)
Dr. Bustos: The issue was great cause it didn’t read like every other issue before it, the meeting with Bleez was a bit gross though. B+
Catwoman #9 (DC)
Arnab: Catwoman is the ultimate heroine. She’s awesome, kicks ass, she doesn’t take shit from anyone, she looks great, and whether she wants you to know it or not, she’s a good person. A-
NickZ: The emotional connection between Catwoman and the Talon was really great. You gotta love Selina in this one.

Decapitated Dan: I love this book! It’s so much fun and done so damn well.
Hellblazer #291 (Vertigo)
Decapitated Dan: I wouldn’t call it awesome if it wasn’t awesome. A great one and done that just proves how fantastic this series is. And I cringed like a little kid when that dart went into his eye.
Invincible Iron Man #517 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: The bad guys seemed a little too trusting when you have superheroes helping superheroes out, but hey, new costume! B+
Justice League #9 (DC)
Infinite Speech: If it wasn’t for the Shazam story I would have fallen asleep. Oh, you fanboys can stop crying now too. Jim Lee is back.
NickZ: With Johns and Lee on this book it should be way better than it is.
Locke & Key: Clockworks #6 (IDW)
Decapitated Dan: Beyond what words can describe. Heading into the final chapter I am so excited to see what is next, yet so sad to see it come to an end. Best Book, Period!
Infinite Speech: With great story and art comes an even greater sense of satisfaction from reading this series! Two words: Comic perfection!
Jeff: I need to go back and read this story all together. I keep forgetting the connections.
New Mutants #42 (Marvel)
Jeff: Someone wake me up when Exiled is over.
NickZ: Kid Loki is so great! He’s the best thing in this “Exiled” crossover.
Nightwing #9 (DC)
Arnab: Well that certainly answers the question about the old vs. the new. A
NickZ: Talk about your family feuds!
Red Hood & the Outlaws #9 (DC)
Arnab: The best superhero team book available. Jason, Roy, and Kori are an amazing trio in the hands of Lobdell and Rocafort. A
Infinite Speech: So the Talons can be reasoned with? Kinda shakey but Lobdell and Rocafort are still kicking butt with this title!
NickZ: Jason is at his best when he shows a sliver of his love for his fellow Bat-family.
Saga #3 (Image)
Arnab: This continues to be one of the most original, well written stories month after month with art that will wow you page after page.
Infinite Speech: Someone slept with The Stalk? Ewww! Oh, and who the %$#! IS Gwendolyn??
Jeff: A floating pink ghost with intestines hanging out as a babysitter. Another reason why this book is so incredible!
NickZ: Hands down the best series of the year. If you aren’t reading this, you need to remedy that!
Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi – Force Storm #4 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: Just when you think Star Wars couldn’t get any better Duuserma & Ostrander take it to the next level!
Supergirl #9 (DC)
NickZ: I am very bored by this title. Why can’t they make Superman’s family as cool as Batman’s?

Uncanny X-Men #12 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Skynet should send a T-1000 back in time to make sure this issue never happens.
Jeff: So many things wrong with this book from Hepzibah’s speech to She-Hulk’s presence in the book. Are the creators not speaking to each other?
NickZ: Namor was very impressive in this book and the whole mating thing was too funny.
Venom #18 (Marvel)
Decapitated Dan: I kind of wanted more, but it’s a building issue so for that I enjoyed it, but get back to the action!
Wonder Woman #9 (DC)
Dr. Bustos: Hades is creepy as always, I do love a lot of the renditions of gods in this series, I’d like to just see a series on them. A
