Amazing Spider-Man #653 (Marvel)
Andy: Damnit. I’m slowly becoming a Spider-Man fan…
Jeff: I love that Spidey is on the Avengers, and this issue is an example why.
Decapitated Dan: Not too bad. I still like my Ult. better but not too bad.
Infinite Speech: Slott and Caselli have me buying this title again and I love it!
Azrael #17 (DC)
Andy: If you thought this book sucked before, I wouldn’t blame you. But jump back on now, because the strong art and mysterious religious themes are gripping.
NickZ: Usually I would be bored with a story like this, but I found it interesting and can’t wait to see what’s next.
Batman Beyond #2 (DC)
Andy: Meh. Not really my thing. And why, oh why, do heroes ALWAYS have to fight each other before teaming up?
Batman Odyssey #6 (DC)
NickZ: OK, I decided that I really don’t like Neal Adams artwork. Deal with it!
Brightest Day #19 (DC)
Andy: 19 issues in and the white lantern/ring is more annoying than ever. Still though, the Aquaman scenes were cool.
NickZ: This was the first issue that made me care about Aquaman’s story. I think the poor guy needs a hand.
Arnab: With only one hand, does this mean when Aquaman swims he’ll go in circles?
Captain America: Hail Hydra #2 (Marvel)
Andy: Tom Scioli’s Kirby-esque art style was the perfect fit for this issue.
Crossed: Family Values #7 (Avatar)
Decapitated Dan: I feel extra dirty now. Avatar please fix this latest wave of filth and give me back my good storyline mature comics.
Daken Dark Wolverine #5 (Marvel)
NickZ: I really like that Daken is finally doing his own thing and how about Tyger! I’ve always liked her, she is hot and a bad ass.
Daomu #1 (Image)
Andy: Well that was easy- I’m hooked! This issue was loaded with expo, but I think the series is poised to wow us once it really cuts loose. Plus, the art was stunning.
DC Universe Online: Legends #1 (DC Comics)
Andy: It’s like Age of X but with DC characters. The concept has my attention, but can it last past 20 issues?
Infinite Speech: A tie-in that delivers a solid story and does’t seem like some quick cash grab. I’m hoping the next 25 issues are of the same quality!
Deadpool and Cable #26 (Marvel)
NickZ: What a great way for Deadpool to “mourn” Cable’s death in his own Deadpool fashion. Plus Lady Gaga, yes you read it right, LADY GAGA!
Arnab: Totally awesome. Deadpool’s tribute to Cable was everything you could ask for.
Driver for the Dead #3 (Radical)
Decapitated Dan: OH HELLS NO! You’re going to let homeboy stick you with the needle! You get what you deserve! AWESOME CONCLUSION!
Aron: Over 50 pages of horrifying images and action in this finale. The length wasn’t a chore and I still want more.
Gotham City Sirens #19 (DC)
Andy: Finally, this series gives us a story that actually matters.
NickZ: I loved the parallels drawn between the Catwoman/Batman relationship and the Harley Quinn/Joker relationship.
Arnab: Zatanna redeems herself, Selina proves why she’s amazing, and Harley, well she’s completely lost it.
Aron: I guess this would be alright if it were the only comic I read. Then again, if it were the only comic I read, I would just quit.
Hellboy: The Sleeping and the Dead #2 (Dark Horse)
Decapitated Dan: Let down on the end to this one. I am trying to like Hellboy but this didn’t help.
House of Mystery #34 (Vertigo)
Aron: With goblins eating drapes and puking and Jordan’s latest movie idea, there is NEVER a dull moment! PICK! OF! THE! WEEK!
Hulk #29 (Marvel)
Andy: Damnit. I’ve slowly become a Hulk fan.
Invincible #77 (Image)
Decapitated Dan: What a great return back to Earth! Now please don’t slow it down again in the next issue.
NickZ: The Viltrumite War has been a great space epic! The resolution reached in this issue is a twist like only Kirkman can do.
Invincible Iron Man #500.1 (Marvel)
Andy: I still have faith in the .1 Initiative, but I’m not sure if a long winded narrative is the best way to win over new readers.
IZombie #10 (Vertigo)
Jeff: Something cool better happen in this book soon because a book with zombies, vampires, and ghosts shouldn’t be this boring.
Marvel Vault: Doctor Strange #1 (Marvel)
Aron: This should have stayed in the vault.
Monster Hunters’ Survival Guide #2 (Zenescope)
Decapitated Dan: I’m still not sure I see the point of single issues on this one. I say wait for it to be collected since it’s basically a book NE ways.
Secret Six #30 (DC)
Aron: Tried it on a whim. It’s silly. Much better than any Deadpool book these days. Look who’s writing it. She made Deadpool good.
Spider-Girl #3 (Marvel)
Andy: Ok, now that this depressing opening arc is over, lets see what Tobin can really do.
Superboy #4 (DC)
NickZ: I knew that ending was coming, well not that exact ending but you get the idea.
Arnab: Anyone else think this future Big Bad is Simon?
Superman 80-Page Giant 2011 #1 (DC)
NickZ: 80 pages. 7 stories. 1 waste of time.
Sweet Tooth #18 (Vertigo)
Andy: This series continues to impress, and this issue, done in a storybook style, keeps on with the trend. Oh, and does Jepperd remind anyone else of Cable?
Time Masters Vanishing Point #6 (DC)
NickZ: Scribblings on the blackboard! What does it mean? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN!?!
Arnab: Six whole issues and this “rescue team” never actually finds Batman.
Transformers: Infestation #1 (IDW)
Decapitated Dan: AHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHA..,WHA AHAHAHAHAHAHAA HHAHAHA… Oh man what the hell was that!? AHH HAHAHAHAA
Infinite Speech: I’m hoping the second issue brings a bit more to the series.
Ultimate Comics New Ultimates #5 (Marvel)
Andy: The art looked great, but this whole mini felt rather detached from everything else going on in the Ultimate Universe.
Infinite Speech: Loeb and Cho close out this chapter of the Ultimates in great fashion.
Ultimate Comics Thor #4 (Marvel)
Andy: Kind of a flat ending…especially for a Hickman series.
Witchblade # 142 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: Guest artist Matt Smith and Ron Marz give a supernatural story that spotlights Detective Gleason. It’s so good you don’t miss Sara!
Witchfinder: Lost and Gone Forever #1 (Dark Horse)
Andy: Surprisingly engaging. Moody art and spooky dialogue gave me chills.

I forgot to add my chirp for Driver for the Dead AND I forgot to pick up my copy of Daomu last week! ugh!
I’m right there with you about Jepperd Andy, the man has a definite Cable/Messiah thing going. Lemire is one talented man.
