Aron: Grim Hunt ended with a dud. Now bring me this O.M.I.T. and please don’t let it be stupid or sucky. K’thanks.

Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine #2 (Marvel)
Andy: Talk about an outside of continuity tale that doesn’t suck! This one’s it.
Jeff: This book makes absolutely no sense…and I LOVE it!

Avengers Academy #2 (Marvel)
Andy: If you passed on this grass get to your dealer and pick up #1 + #2! Quicksilver fans should do so post-haste!

Batgirl #12 (DC)
Andy: So can Calculator stay locked away for a long time now…please?
Arnab: Oracle has a new apprentice and Batgirl made it through the year without dying, sounds like a good year to me.

Batman #701 (DC)
Andy: I need to go back and re-read Batman RIP for this one to make sense to me…and I’m too damn lazy to do that.
Arnab: The bridge between Batman: R.I.P. and Final Crisis. Bruce may be just a human, but goes toe to toe with gods on a regular basis.
Aron: I think I have read more informative stuff off the roll of paper towels in the kitchen. What’s up?

Birds of Prey #3 (DC)
Andy: Loved the opening hallucination of Penguin. I’ll take more of that any day! …but only if Benes is drawing. What was with the artist swap at the end?
Arnab: Oracle and Black Canary seem to be in over their heads, while their enemies continue to maintain control.

The Calling: Cthulhu Chronicles #1 (BOOM!)
Aron: Interesting. I like it.
Decapitated Dan: While horror comics aren’t scary, the last panel in this one sent chills up my spine. A must read!

Daredevil #508 (Marvel)
Andy: Not as great as Shadowland #1, but it’s still pretty great! Love the art in this series too.
Aron: So SHADOWLAND #1 really happened. R.I.P. Bummer. Other than that, this issue was badass.

Daytripper #8 (Vertigo)
Andy: The most emotional issue yet. Damn.

Doctor Solar: Man of the Atom #1 (Dark Horse)
Aron: Like…too many words, man. It was alright. DECAPITATED DAN IS IN THE BACK, YO!

Fevre Dream #3 (Avatar)
Decapitated Dan: We’re taking our time to get there, but I am really enjoying this so far. Very different than what I expected to read.

Invincible Iron Man #28 (Marvel)
Andy: Meh. Will something happen already?
Aron: “You think I came down to your nerd hole because I wanted to trade Pokémans?” Other than that, it ain’t grabbin’ me.

Iron Man Noir #4 (Marvel)
Aron: Awesome! Sad to see it end.

Justice League: Generation Lost #5 (DC)
Andy: I’m still really liking this series despite previously not giving a crap about any of the characters. The new art is rockin’ as well.

Mystery Society #2 (IDW)
Aron: Oh, man! This thing is COOKY! In a GOOD way! Not the typical Niles horror, but I’m keeping it.

Orc Stain #4 (Image)
Decapitated Dan: I get so lost in the pictures that I almost miss how awesome this story is. It’s like my dreams on paper.

Superman #701 (DC)
Andy: I never gave 2 shitzu’s about Superman before, but now I’m on board. This is a Superman I can get behind.
Aron: The walking dude. Pretty cool.

Sweets: A New Orleans Crime Story (Image)
Andy: It was ok, but it crammed a lot in there for a #1. It will probably read better in trade format.

The Thanos Imperative #2 (Marvel)
Andy: I’m not a huge Marvel Cosmic guy, but this issue made me poop my pants…a few times.
Aron: What the hell? And Silver Surfer looked like a dork. Had to make sure it wasn’t the artist from “In Thy Name”.

Titans #25 (DC)
Andy: I want to like this book, but it’s not grabbing me. Why the f would these characters ally themselves with Slade for no reason?

Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #12 (Marvel)
Andy: Man, if I were in high school again I’d be doing a lot more than kissing the girls. That’s all I have to say.
Decapitated Dan: This arc is shaping up to be awesome!!! I am looking so forward to the Iceman/Torch vs. Mock Spider-man coming up.

Uncanny X-Men: The Heroic Age #1 (Marvel)
Andy: This was actually really well done. Don’t let the shittiness of Nation X dissuade you from checking it out.
Arnab: Hope makes a friend, Beast gets dropped by a little girl, and Scott receives a medal form the President. Just another day in the life of the X-Men.
Decapitated Dan: By far some of the worst art I have seen in a while from Marvel that’s how we draw Beast now? AND KEEP MOLLY OUT THE X-BOOKS!!!!
Jeff: The reason SWORD was canceled was because of Steve Sanders’ rendition of Beast, so what do they do, get him to draw him in this! Wasteful.

The Unwritten #15 (Vertigo)
Andy: People who have stuck this series out will enjoy the payoff in this issue. Lots of stuff happens and it’s for the better.

X-Force: Sex & Violence #1 (Marvel)
Andy: If the stunning art alone doesn’t sell you, the solid story surrounding it should.
Arnab: Domino is on the run, it’s a good thing she’s got Wolverine looking out for her.
Jeff: I never really liked Domino much, but this issue made me really like her. Dell’Otto’s art is gorgeous!

X-Men Origins: Deadpool (Marvel)
Andy: Knock Knock. Who’s there? A great one shot Deadpool book!
Arnab: Pretty cool take on an origin story. Deadpool’s always been a little crazy, now we know why.

X-Men: Second Coming #2 (Marvel)
Andy: So f-ing awesome. On every level. Can’t wait to read what comes next.
Arnab: Multiple stories with major impacts. New X-Force. Five Lights.
Aron: This event cost a lot of money and two X-Men. I hope it was worth it. It sure doesn’t seem like it. R.I.P. Nightcrawler.
Jeff: A true epilogue. A shame they did it in four parts with different creative teams.

X-Men Second Coming Revelations: Hellbound #3 (Marvel)
Andy: Soooooooo we needed 3 issues for Pixie  to figure out she doesn’t hate Illyana? Jeez.
Arnab: Gambit’s got hell at his beck and call. Pixie decides she’d rather be an X-man than whole.
Jeff: Cannonball is such a badass and this time he proves it to Death Gambit.
