In the chill of the night, at the scene of a crime, like a streak of light he arrives just in time… Spider-Ham! A pig that does whatever a spider can, or is he a spider who can do whatever a pig can? Yes, this is gonna get weirder than it already is. How does this sort of thing happen? Let’s find out!
Peter Porker was just your run of the mill spider living in a world of animal people, like you do, when the scientist, May Porker was testing radioactive materials and in her irradiated state, bit the spider near her. The spider transformed into a pig man with spider powers, he took the name Peter Porker in honor of the woman who helped create his new life, she gladly took on the role of the young man’s aunt. Sometimes Peter Porker was your regular pig who accidentally ate a spider that fell into his Aunt May’s pancake batter, giving him the powers of a spider, it’s always a risk when you eat pancakes.
Peter realized that with great power comes great responsibility, he would make himself a costume and build some webshooters to mimic his old webslinging abilities and became the amazing Spider-Ham. He would begin a life of heroics facing off against all manner of villains such as Ducktor Doom, Doctor Octopussy Cat, and Kingpig. Thankfully, Peter was not alone, he had such amazing friends as Captain AmeriCat, Deerdevil, and Croctor Strange to help fight off such dangers.
Most of Peter’s time would be set in his own animal world for his adventures but every once in a while he was needed elsewhere. One such time was when Peter discovered he was just one of many Peters/Spider-powered people in the multiverse. He would have to team up with weirdly shaped people who were alternate dimensional versions of himself. They looked like shaved apes or something, it was creepy, no snouts or curly tails, just bizarre. He would discover that he and all the other Peters and Spiders were in danger of being killed by some deadly foe whose existence was to eliminate anyone like him. Together, they would save each other and make friendships with one another, turns out Peter can like himself.
There you have it! Peter Porker has been on the small screen and soon will appear on the big screen along with his fellow Spiders. He has been one of the cutest additions to the Spider-Man mythos and is growing in importance day by day. Where will he end up next? Who knows? See you next time!
