Action Comics #0 (DC)
Dr. Bustos: Superman’s cape, alone, is capable of inspiring people to be great almost as much as the man himself. A.
NickZ: Now this is a classic Superman story. The little kid in Supe’s cape was great.

Age of Apocalypse #7 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Okay, NOW I’m invested in this series again! Great issue!
Jeff: This book is just cool. Doom shows up as a freedom fighter in Latveria and we see that AoA Emma Frost is not as good as we once thought.
NickZ: Anytime you bring in Doctor Doom, you’re doing it right!

Amazing Spider-Man #693 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Alpha is an ass and this is another great issue from Ramos & Slott!
Jeff: The Jackal is one of the most fun Spidey villains. Somehow I missed him in the early days, but Slott has made him great!

Animal Man #0 (DC)
Arnab: Lemire scripts a fantastic journey from start to finish that is both informative and jolly good fun. A
Dr. Bustos
: Getting to see the Red have to come up with a convoluted excuse for Buddy to get his powers is fun. A

Archer & Armstrong #2 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: One of THE best buddy comics on the shelves today!
Jeff: This is the best buddy-book/action/historical mystery/comedy on the shelves. If you’re not reading this, you are missing out!

Avengers Academy #36 (Marvel)
Jeff: I want to see Andrea Di Vito on a Runaways relaunch. He’s a natural at drawing teenager super-heroes.
NickZ: The kids finally accept themselves for who they are but is it too late to save the world?

Batman: Detective Comics #0 (DC)
This issue offered up a nice look into a part of Bruce’s life that is often neglected.
While training to become Batman with a Zen-Buddhist Monk Warrior, Bruce learns a powerful lesson.

Batwing #0 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Finally, we get some focus on Batwing and the series is that much stronger for it!
NickZ: A great peek into who Batwing is and why he does what he does.

Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre #3 (DC)
All I have to say is, be thankful the Comedian is NOT your dad.

Bloodshot #3 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: Damn! I may not have been a fan before but I sure am now!

Creator Owned Heroes #4 (Image)
Infinite Speech: You’re not reading this? Your loss!

The Crow #3 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: I couldn’t take it anymore so I dropped this from my pull list.

Deadpool #60 (Marvel)
NickZ: Deadpool becomes The Human Flamethrower! Oh yeah, and he’s ugly again.

The Defenders #10 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: They have to get things back in order, this is looking pretty grim with out Silver Surfer. A
NickZ: The gang finds themselves in an apocalyptic word, shrunk down to the size of bugs, about to face a Celestial. No problem, right?

First X-Men #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Better looking and better story than last issue
Jeff: This book is just not needed. At all. I’m going to just ignore it as if it were an annoying kid in a booth next me at Waffle House.
NickZ: Wolverine and his “X-Men” get their asses handed to them by Magneto.

Flash Gordon: Zeitgeist #6 (Dynamite)
Infinite Speech: Alex Raymond would be proud of the excitement & energy this team is bringing to his creation!

Green Arrow #0 (DC)
Arnab: By fart the best issue to come out this entire series. B+
Dr. Bustos:
I would have liked to have spent more time with Ollie on the island. B

Green Lantern #0 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Some history on Baz before the big Green Lantern event hits and it was a solid read!

Hawkeye #2 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: This series is spectacular and I love that Kate Bishop looks to be joining, more like Hawkeyes. A+

Invincible Iron Man #524 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: I hope this is just a hiccup in Rescue’s career and we get a new suit for her soon, maybe a little more pro-active. A

Road To Oz #1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: So there’s a place where it’s normal for little girls to wander off with old, strange, men? Creepy. Still a good start though.
Jeff: Let’s all be honest here…we only read this to see Skottie Young draw crazy stuff. Why would Dorothy wander off with a homeless guy?

Smallville Season Eleven #5 (DC)
NickZ: At long last Batman debuts in the Smallville Universe and nothing will ever be the same!

Spawn #223 (Image)
Infintie Speech: This series has a great depth to it and Kudranski continues to make it visually awesome!

Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #14 (Marvel)

Infinite Speech: Comic awesomeness for fourteen issues straight and Miles gets the best gift ever in this issue!
Jeff: I love when Captain America has to eat his words. Miles is so awesome!

Venom #24 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Best Venom series ever!

X-Factor #243 (Marvel)
Arnab: Hot Damn. X-Factor is in for a world of hurt it would seem. A
FINALLY!!! We get to see what happened to Lorna’s family and her connection to Magneto!!!
NickZ: Lorna learns a dark truth as X-Factor continues to it’s breaking point.
