Comic Attack’s Top 5 of 2017 Fan Poll!

[Editor’s Note: THE POLLS HAVE CLOSED! Results coming soon!]

Welcome to 2017’s greatest year end event! The Comic Attack Top 5 Fan Poll where the fandom makes their voices heard.

This has been a rough year for many of us in the comic community, from US politics making it even harder to find escape in one of our favorite past times, to the rise of microtransactions in full priced games, to end of net neutrality, 2017 seems to have had a vendetta against nerds. Somedays it felt like you couldn’t look at your Facebook feed or even check Twitter without fear of being gut checked by some god-awful nerd news. Comic News google alerts turned themselves into landmines full of frustration and disappointment. If it wasn’t a lackluster Justice League film with it CGI hair removal and “Aqua Bro” fastball specials then it was the new editor-in-chief of Marvel pulling a Ghost in the Shell, just a lifetime wort of bad news assuring everyon that this year would not be short on bummers.

The funny thing is this year has also been, against all odds, amazing for nerds as well. If you weren’t reading Tom King’s The War of Jokes and Riddles or Jeff Lemire’s Black Hammer then maybe you were watching The Punisher on Netflix or The Flash on CW and if you decided to hit the cinema you were watching Thor: Ragnarok or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 or Wonder Woman. So now that the snow is falling and the year is ending let’s spend some time basking in the glorious rays of sunshine in 2017. They may have been few and far between but they were great while they lasted.

Let’s see the categories.

Last day of voting is 01/10/18 and you can vote for your top 5 in every category until that date!
