The beauty of Savage Wolverine is that you can pick up just the issues that feature your favorite creators' takes on the ol' canucklehead. Considering how weak the Wolverine solo title is right now and also to a scaled back role in the Marvel U of the character thanks to the success of the Avengers movie giving those characters a boost in sales and Dan Slott's excellent run on Spider-Man.. I think there aren't a lot of places to find good Wolverine stories anymore. Savage Wolverine offers that, albeit inconsistently. The Isanove story is one of the pone's worth checking out IMO.

In reply to InfiniteSpeech.

The beauty of Savage Wolverine is that you can pick up just the issues that feature your favorite creators’ takes on the ol’ canucklehead.
