Greeting, Comic Attackers! I know it’s been quiet on my front lately. I attended Anime Fest 2012 over Labor Day weekend, which I intend to do a write up on. Unfortunately I fell ill immediately after, and have been in bed for about a week. So my report on the convention will be slow going, I’m afraid. As I recuperate, the easiest thing I can do is upload the one and only interview I managed to obtain. Getting interviews this year was difficult, for various reasons, but I’ll talk about that another time.
Last year I had the pleasure of interviewing Cherami Leigh, so when I learned she was attending again this year, I wanted to follow up with her. Due to scheduling shenanigans, I ended up doing a joint interview with friend and fellow journalist from Ani.me Amanda. I’ll be posting the audio from the interview here, but Amanda will be posting a written transcript of the interview (because apparently she’s a much harder worker than I am). The interview runs just under half an hour, and we talk about Cherami’s recent work on Shana, her life working in LA and Texas, and her favorite Disney princesses.
