    Aw man! I wanna come!

  2. Aron

No. I want to write or create a graphic novel because I LOVE comics! Those who want to write or create a graphic novel to help bring it to film, don’t have their heart in the right place.

  3. Andy

    Disagree.

People do this for a living and have families to take care of. Comics don’t pay very well unless your last name is Moore or Silvestri. Having your original comic book series turned into a feature film pays very well.

I think it’s a fair assumption that every comic book creator’s dream is to see their original story turned into a movie. Plus, it’s a business and people have mouths to feed, ya dig?

  4. Andy

Oh, wait- are you talking about people who use a graphic novel SOLELY to pitch a film, like as an in without any regard to the comic buyer?

Then I see what you’re saying.

    : D

  5. Aron

Yes. The ones who are doing it JUST so they can make a movie. Having their work turned into a movie, that’s great. Someone aiming their graphic novel straight at the silver screen, those people don’t have their heart in the right place.
