The Comics Dispatch #11.1: Artist Ramón Pérez Exclusive Interview on Jim Henson’s “A Tale of Sand”

Last week I had a special opportunity to speak exclusively with artist Ramón Pérez of Toronto, Canada, on his upcoming book with Archaia Entertainment, A Tale of Sand. The meeting was held at the Jim Henson Studio in Los Angeles, as the book of honor is written by Henson himself. The hook? It has never before been seen or read by the public eye! There’s lots of secrecy surrounding this one.

A Tale of Sand is a long lost screenplay Henson wrote in the late 60s/early 70s, and after being discovered decades later is being adapted into an original graphic novel by Pérez. The story isn’t your typical Jim Henson adventure either; it’s very meta, delving deep into the human psyche, and there are most certainly no singing puppets.

So tune in to our special interview with Ramón as he talks all things related to A Tale of Sand!
