When Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was teased months ago confirming we’d get a sequel to Playstation 4’s most recent Spider-Man game the fans went wild! The little bit of what was shown just proved that Insomniac Games wasn’t messing around and that they were bringing some heat to the Playstation 5 with this one.
Now here’s some extended gameplay courtesy of the Playstation Showcase along with a little bit of plot details. Though we don’t know exactly how much time has passed since the last game but Miles’ mother, Rio is throwing her hat in the political arena and they’re living in Harlem. Before the action starts we also get an appearance from Miles’ best friend from the comics, Ghanke. From there we see Spider-Man doing what he does best against the Tinkerer and plenty of goons. His venom blast is on full display as it’s seamlessly integrated into his combo moves along with with his camouflage ability. It’s quite impressive especially when the disaster ramps up and Miles has to dig a little deeper to save some lives.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on both Playstation 4 and 5. The game will retail for $49.99 but if you want to go big you can get the Ultimate Edition for $69.99 that comes with the full 2018 Spider-Man game as well.
