Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today kicks off the Road to Worlds Campaign for KONAMI’s hit PC and mobile game, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. As part of the road to the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2019 (WCS2019), this campaign supplies the competitive tools for all Duelists to take part in KONAMI’s official esports tournament for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. The top Duelists from the WCS2019 online qualifiers that begin on May 28 will move on to compete for the World Championship in Berlin on August 10-11.
Starting today through June 30, Duelists can log in to Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links and receive 1000 free Gems as a bonus. In addition to the Gems, Duelists have a chance to receive Road to Worlds Campaign items including:
- Prismatic Red-Eyes B. Dragon (Original Art) – Get Joey Wheeler’s classic ace monster
- Card Tickets – Duelists will receive up to six card tickets to exchange for UR and SR cards including the Dream UR card where Duelists can pick any one card from the 1st to the 17th Main and Mini Boxes
Also arriving today, the Structure Deck: Return of the Red-Eyes brings Red-Eyes Retro Dragon, Red-Eyes Fusion and several other cards for Duelists to join and be competitive in online PvP, including the WCS2019 online qualifier.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship is a tournament that determines the world’s best Duelist in three categories. Many remarkable matches were played at the WCS2018 in Japan where the World Champions of the TCG Main Event, TCG Dragon Duel and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links were crowned.
