The official trailer for the upcoming New Mutants film feels nothing like any of it’s mutant centered predecessors from 20th Century Fox and this is a good thing. This feels less like your usual superhero good vs evil story and more like a tense horror/thriller and quite frankly I’m here for that! Especially after waiting for something definite after the 2009 announcement that New Mutants might be headed to theaters.
The X-Men movies have been arguably one of the most polarizing franchises amongst fans of the characters from Marvel Comics. Aside from the recent Logan and Deadpool films which were both critically acclaimed and well received by fans the other films usually range from okay to mediocre to straight trash by many.
New Mutants is Directed by Josh Boone and based off of characters created by Chris Claremont and Bob McCleod in 1982 and scheduled to release on April 13, 2018!
