Action Comics #962 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. The Doomsday fight is finally over (didn’t DC JUST use him a year ago?). Good Lex & Wonder Woman scenes.
NickZ: This first arc was very heavy on the action but it still laid out so many questions and mysteries to keep you wanting more.
Adventure Time Comics #2 (Boom!)
NickZ: I love how the artists just get to run wild on these short stories. Greg Smallwood’s story was particularly awesome!
Batgirl #2 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. The story focuses more on mystery/detective work, which is an interesting take. The Albuquerque art is fantastic.
NickZ: Babs gets a new bae and becomes an MMA fighter in Japan. That’s about as far from Burnside as you can get.
Blue Beetle Rebirth #1 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Doesn’t matter who your favorite BB is, this is a solid issue.
Martin: 4/5 stars. A good start to a new Blue Beetle story arc, but I do hope we get to see Ted Kord in action again as BB.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer #30 (Dark Horse)
NickZ: Season 10 wraps up in a very satisfying and clever way and sets up a great new beginning for season 11!
Captain America: Steve Rogers #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Bad guy Cap is fine with me. This issue, however, was not.

NickZ: Layman and Guillory have put Tony through some f***ed up s*** over the years but this one takes the cake!
Deadpool #17 (Marvel)
NickZ: Deadpool nearly naked, in just a thong, killing people will a shot gun. ‘Nuff Said!

Detective Comics #939 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. The Colonel Kane story arc will be coming to a close soon, & the end to this issue sets it up unexpectedly
NickZ: I feel like this is going to be a defining moment for Tim Drake and I don’t want to miss what happens next!
Extraordinary X-Men #13 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: This was a pleasantly surprisingly good issue. Magik is getting a lot of face time lately.
NickZ: This was the weakest issue of this book so far and without Chris Bachalo, even the art was subpar.
Flash #5 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Williamson has me glued to this series! Oh, and Barry just had the worst day off ever.
Martin: 4/5 stars. The opening arc has been great & this issue is no exception. The extra Speedsters are developing into full characters.
Generation Zero #1 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: The heroes don’t show up until the end & this is still a great read!
Hal Jordan & the Green Lantern Corps #3 (DC)
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. I’m not a fan of page after page of fights but Sinestro & his Lanterns just look cool!
The Hellblazer #1 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. A bit slow of a start, but it is a 1st issue so I’ll let that slide. Decent humor & Swamp Thing’s always fun

NickZ: This issue was mostly build up. It’s the first “filler” issue Invincible has had in a very long time.

Infinite Speech: Top Cow continues to put out fantastic comics like this so just pick it up!

Infinite Speech: Barbiere peels back the veil in another great issue but those info dumps look painful!

NickZ: I feel like this book is incredible but I’m just not personally connecting with it, not to say that I don’t find it interesting tho.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #61 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: 4 out of 5 shells for this one! Mikey is taking charge and things are getting murky as Splinter leads the Foot Clan!
Teen Titans #23 (DC)
NickZ: Tim Drake saves the Teen Titans for the 867,345,897th time! You’re up Damian.
Titans #2 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. This really is a key series to read to learn more about the Rebirth time mystery. Great to see Kadabra as the BBEG.
The Uncanny Inhumans Annual #1 (Marvel)
NickZ: Basically, some of the new Inhumans battle a poor man’s version of Groot. Save your five bucks!
Infinite Speech: Friends don’t let friends read this issue.
Wonder Woman #5 (DC)
Martin:4.5/5 stars. So much happened this issue, including setting up the next arc. The relationship btw Cheetah & Diana is great.
