Action Comics #44 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. I’ve been enjoying this current arc, but this issue was a bit confusing, like a whole page got missed.
A-Force #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Loki will be Loki regardless of universe or gender! Another great issue
Batman #44 (DC)
Arnab: Probably one of the best Batman issues in a long while. Had that Black Mirror feel.
Infinite Speech: Snyder takes us back to Year One only to tie it into the emergence of the new villain. Pretty sneaky Snyder!
Martin: 5/5 stars. Perfect example of story & art working together. A 1-off but adds to the current arc. Fantastic Art/Colors/Letters.
Batman/Superman #24 (DC)
Arnab: Eh. I’m bored of Gordon Batman.
Martin: 3/5 stars. There are hints of good things to come, but overall this issue is a bit lackluster in story & art.
Bitch Planet #5 (Image)
Infinite Speech: Kelly Sue kicked my chest in with the death in this issue and I loved every minute of it!
Civil War #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Wow…did NOT see that villain twist coming at all!
Harrow County #5 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: A horror title that I’m glad I took a chance on and so should a few of you readers
Justice League United #13 (DC)
Martin: 3/5 stars. I really like the *idea* of this series more than the execution. This particular team-up should have been more fun.
Ninjak #7 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: Matt Kindt is writing arguably the best title Valiant is putting out right now!
Star Wars: Shattered Empire #1 (Marvel)
Martin: 4/5 stars. Great aerial battle scene art & cool intro to some new characters w/ clever ties to Force Awakens
Starfire #4 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. There’s so much going for this book, from the art to the fun story that owes nothing to DC grim-&-gritty continuity.
The Walking Dead #146 (Image)
Arnab: Anyone else cheer when Maggie beat the shit out of Rick?
Unity #22 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: This is my favorite dysfunctional team and Kindt delivers another quality Valiant title w/ great art from Jose Luis!
