CBS revealed a brand new trailer for the upcoming series starring the cousin of Superman, Kara Zor-El. She is more widely known as Supergirl and where the first trailer focused on her destiny this one shows her accepting her role as protector and flying headfirst to live up to her namesake.
Several things were also revealed at the meeting in regards to the show and what we can expect to see as Kara eases into her role. There was the mention of Red Tornado being in the series and we will get to see Non early on as well. If you’re not familiar with the name, he was the large, silent Kryptonian villain from Superman II. As far as other characters go it looks like General Lane, father of Lois and Lucy Lane, will also have an agenda on the show.
Superman is also said to play a role here though we won’t be seeing him directly but his influence will surely be visible. Now to the dismay of some, the rumors of a crossover with Arrow and Flash were laid to rest. Though we can hope that decision changes later on, right?

I am super excited for this show! I hope hope hope it’s fantastic!
I can’t wait to see all the cool cameos they said they were going to have featuring previous Supergirl/Superman cast members!
Also, wondering how they’ll pull off Non.
AND
I hope they do actually do some crossovers with Flash and Arrow!
