After waiting for what seems like an eternity the official teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens has finally arrived! There won’t be much you can tell about the plot from the upcoming film from J.J. Abrams but we do get plenty of visuals to satisfy us until a full length trailer is released.
One thing that is noticeable from the start is that the film doesn’t have that glossy “perfect” look of the prequel trilogy which is alright by me. Plus, anytime you get to hear that satisfying lightsaber sound effect you know it’s about to go down!
Taking place over thirty years after Return of the Jedi we’ll see returning characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and more along with a new crop of heroes and villains for this next generation in the Star Wars franchise. Here’s also hoping that this is a step in the right direction for the film franchise and doesn’t give us that Episode I feeling all over again.
