etflix’s partnership with Marvel is starting to bear fruit:
A new poster for the Daredevil series exclusive to Netflix hit the interwebs today.
Sent out on Marvel’s twitter account (@Marvel), the promotional art for the series comes hot on the heels of the well received Agent Carter debut and a full fledged Ant-Man trailer, along with a release date; April 10th exclusively to Netflix. Netflix, in a maneuver they pretty much invented, will release Daredevil’s whole first season in a day one megablast. A move that will absolutely consume any fanboy’s free time in a binge-watching frenzy a la Orange is the New Black, or their latest sleeper hit Marco Polo.
A City Without Hope. A Man Without Fear is Marvel’s first step in delivering on a promise of serialized dramas featuring Daredevil, as well as Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, all as Netflix exclusives, and the poster is a perfect whetting of the appetite for what’s to come.
So get ready, because a GOOD Daredevil series, plus the official end of Phase 2 with the big screen Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, plus the ultra ambitious Phase 3 period for the MCU, equals 2015 being a great year for comic book nerds.
