Amazing Spider-Man #10 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: So. Many. Spiders! Excellent event that reinforces why Slott is one of the best Spidey writers ever!
Avengers #38 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Hickman is getting deep here and I really hope the payoff is worth it!
Avengers & X-Men: Axis #6 (Marvel)
Arnab: I don’t understand the purpose of this story. Because I sure as hell doubt Captain America is going to arrest Scarlet Witch or Hulk when all this reverts back to normal.
Infinite Speech: Getting better but it seems more like a book to get you to buy the tie ins instead of moving the story.
Batman/Superman #16 (DC)
Arnab: That hospital scene was f’ing great. Ketchup.
Martin: 4/5 stars. I miss Jae Lee’s art, but Adrian Syaf’s style is good also. Nice interactions between Bruce & Clark.
Batman & Robin #36 (DC)
Arnab: Avoid spoilers if you can, it makes everything better.
Infinite Speech: DC spoiling that Damian is coming back kind of takes the wind out of the sails of this story. But it’s okay.
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. Great action and emotion, along with my favorite comic cover from the past week.
Batman Eternal #33 (DC)
Arnab: I can’t help but wonder where the rest of the Bat family is right now.
Martin: 4/5 stars. Fabok’s art raises the score in this one – the story is good but a little slowed down vs. the past few issues
Earth 2 World’s End #7 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. So much happening: Huntress/Desaad, Bats/Val/etc, GL/Grundy, Dr. Fate, Constantine, World Army… dang!
Elektra #8 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: This title should NOT be getting canceled!
Guardians of the Galaxy #21 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: The new Venom design is pretty cool and it’s about time we got some symbiote history. Poor Groot though.
Justice League #36 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. Luthor’s still at the forefront in this new arc that resurrects a classic JL villain in a new modern way.
Moon Knight #9 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Moon Knight has been taken to another level and we should all be enjoying it!
Multiversity: Pax Americana #1 (DC)
Martin: 5/5 stars. Amazing Quitely art & a deep Morrison story of the Charlton characters w/ vague Watchmen overtones.
New 52 Futures End #29 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. One big storyline comes to a close & it’s well-done but was spoiled a bit by the cover.
New Avengers #26 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: So that’s where Tony was. I’m Really liking Time Runs Out!
Superman/Wonder Woman #13 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Some good stuff from the new creative team, but too much overkill on how Supers & WW are different.
Witchblade #179 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: Some great artists have worked with Marz on this title and Laura Braga is yet another in that long list!
