Axis #2 (Marvel)
Arnab: There was a time jump in this book, right?
Infinite Speech: Apparently Magneto has tapped into the Speed Force and teleportation because what he did makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER!!
Avengers World #14 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: This series started off as intense as the Thundercats theme song but ended with the intensity of elevator muzak.
Batman & Robin #35 (DC)
Arnab: How can you have an army of Robins but not have Dick Grayson? Blasphemy.
Infinite Speech: Sometimes the little flaws can kick a great book in the ass. This story is a result of such a butt kicking.
Martin: 4/5 stars. The star of this issue, aside from the art, is the interactions of the Bat Family with Alfred and each other.
Batman Eternal #28 (DC)
Arnab: Shit is going down. We knew it was coming, but it was great to see Catwoman’s transition to kingpin.
Martin: 3/5 stars. Art-wise, this is a good looking book, but the “big surprise” at the end was already spoiled months ago.
Batman/Superman #15 (DC)
Arnab: Decent fun, though Lois putting on Batgirl’s costume was weird. Plus, she looked like a college kid, which was really weird.
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Fun & goofy in almost a Silver Age way, including a great, but unrealistic, turn of Lois Lane as Batgirl.
Death of Wolverine #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Now that he’s gone who will take his place? How about the other large number of feral mutants Marvel has waiting in the wings. *cough* Sabertooth *cough*
Earth 2: World’s End #2 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. I liked last week’s issue even though it was a tad slow. This 1 totally speeds things up, in a good way.
Edge of Spider-Verse #5 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Yet another solid story and unique take on the Spider-Man character! Can’t wait for this event!
Justice League #35 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. I’m really digging the Luthor/Wayne interactions as well as Shazam. The art by Mankhe & Reis is really great.
Magneto #11 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Magneto’s new power is a mix of the Speed Force, teleportation, and whatever Santa Claus uses to visit every kid on Earth in one night.
Ms. Marvel #9 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: So “embiggen” is the new catchphrase and Medusa finally gives Kamalah some answers. Wilson is awesome on this title!
New 52 Futures End #24 (DC)
Martin: 3/5 stars. I really like the concept of this series but the execution this issue is a bit off. Needs more focus.Ch
New Avengers #25 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: In several months things are going to be very bad for the Illuminati and Hickman is making it one fun ride!
Original Sin Annual #1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Original Sin hasn’t been out for a year so the title is stupid. Original Sin has been over so the point of this was….?
Painkiller Jane: The 22 Brides #3 (Icon)
Infinite Speech: Palmiotti brings you one kick ass character in Jane so read this series!
Prometheus: Fire and Stone #2 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: ALIEN SHARKS!! LV-223 is a lot cooler now!
Red Hood and the Outlaws #35 (DC)
Arnab: Getting burnt to a crisp by your girlfriend is a terrible way to get burnt.
Infinite Speech: Starfire didn’t hear Roy screaming like crazy? Drugs are bad.
Skylanders #1 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: A fun issue that fits perfectly with the tone of the game!
Spider-Man 2099 #5 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: When I was a kid I would have given anything to be Spider-Man. After reading these titles I’m so glad that never happened.
Storm #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Storm won’t cross lines that Logan would but Pak makes sure you don’t take her lightly!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #39 (IDW)
Arnab: Turtle Power! This book is pretty much better than anything.
Infinite Speech: This is the BEST mutant title out right now! And they didn’t need some fancy school in Upstate NY either!
Uncanny X-Men #27 (Marvel)
Arnab: Cyclops comes up with an idea, people disagree, turns out his plan was the best plan in the end, sound familiar? Team Cyclops for the win!
Infinite Speech: So Cyclops asks this guy to join him at IHOP and it’s all good? Whatever.
Wilds End #2 (BOOM!)
Infinite Speech: I can’t get enough of this title and it’s only the 2nd issue!
