Action Comics #34 (DC)
Martin: @gregpak and @AaronKuder deliver on the namesake of this title with plenty of sci-fi style action & fun character cameos
NickZ: Not gonna lie, a lot of crazy s*** goes down in this issue. This story is getting ridiculous but in a good way.

Action Comics Annual #3 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. A huge step forward in explaining what’s really going on, with some fun Batman/Lex Luthor arguments.
NickZ: Batman and Luthor team-ups are so much fun, he should be the new Robin. Also, there are lots of Lois and Clark feels in this one.

Angel & Faith #5 (Dark Horse)
NickZ: Angel finally encounters the new super vamps and discovers the rules of magic have changed, but did the changes effect him more than he realizes?

batman eternal 18Batman Eternal #18 (DC)
Arnab: I think I might be starting to get bored of this. We’ll see.
Martin: 4/5 stars. A new arc focusing on some different characters (finally! no Joker’s Daughter) and all new plot-lines.
NickZ: Who knew Jason Todd had so much love for Batgirl? I think he’s the president of her fan club.

Batman: Detective Comics #34 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Some nice art, but a total downer of a story. Living in Gotham City sucks!
NickZ: My favorite Batman stories are always when he has to play detective. With fantastic art, compelling new characters and great interaction between Bats and Bullock, “Icarus” hit the spot.

Batwing #34 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Lucas and his sister need more issues together lol
NickZ: So sorry to see this series go. I really enjoyed both of the guys who took on the role of Batwing. It was a good book and I’m glad it lasted as long as it did.

Big Trouble in Little China #3 (Boom! Studios)
Dr. Bustos: I enjoy hearing about Jack’s past and learning more about the magical world he lives in so obliviously.

Black Widow #9 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: I like seeing Natasha have to deal with Punisher. He’s always worth seeing how other heroes interact with him.
Jeff: I feel like a missed something about 3/4 of the way through this book.

Cyberforce #10 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: So much awesome happened in this issue but the big question is how did Stryker get Han Solo’s blaster??

Earth 2 #26 (DC)
Infinite Speech: If the main DC Universe was this interesting (and diverse) I’d like it much more.
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. The Kryptonian story-arc conclusion was a little too rushed & not entirely satisfying. Still a good series though.

Genius #1 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: It’s been a long wait but the first issue proves it was worth it!

grayson 2Grayson #2 (DC)
Arnab: I am loving this series.
NickZ: Two issues in and I’m already finding this series way more enjoyable than Nightwing. If this continues, Dick may no longer be my least favorite Robin.

Green Arrow #34 (DC)
Arnab: Bummed to see this creative team leaving.
Martin: 5/5 stars. A sad day with @JeffLemire, @And_Sorrentino & @MMaiolo leaving this book, which was my favorite New 52 title.

Invincible #113 (Image)
NickZ: You think Peter Parker has problems? He’s got nothing on Mark Grayson. There is literally like five life altering main plots going on in the book right now.

Iron Fist: The Living Weapon #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: This is the Iron Fist we’ve been waiting for thanks to Kaare Andrews!
Jeff: I never, ever want this to stop.

Juice Squeezers TPB (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: Kids killing giant bugs! What’s more fun than that?!

Legendary Star Lord #2 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Hope we get his sister back again later on.
Jeff: If you enjoy Chris Pratt’s Star Lord, then this is a good representation.

Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #4 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Glad to see these two working together even if it isn’t real.
Infinite Speech: I don’t want it to be Peter but if it really is
Jeff: I think the Green Goblin needs to be de-horned.

Moon Knight #6 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: A good bye from the other side to show us what makes a villain and not a hero.
NickZ: I am beyond sad that Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey’s run on this book is over. They really had something amazing going on here, they will be a tough, if not impossible, act to follow.

New Avengers #22 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Namor is a serious ass and deserved the beating from T’Challa. Now if we can get the BIG battle between the two that we’ve been waiting for!

new warriors 8New Warriors #8 (Marvel)
Jeff: I really wish this book clicked, but it just doesn’t for some reason.
NickZ: This New Warriors team has to be the most bad news bears, underdog, ragtag, doesn’t make sense but works, team in comics today. Read this book if you like comedy, action, and adventure.

Original Sin #5.3 Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: A lot of truth was revealed in this issue but did Angela have to beat Thor that bad? Yeah…she did.
Jeff: Simone Bianchi is a great fit for a Thor tale like this.
NickZ: Thor stands alone against his sisters (damn you Loki), a world of “Angel” warriors, and an evil(?) queen.

Original Sin: Hulk vs Iron Man #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: This was a great mini series wrapped up in a very smart ending. Bravo.
Jeff: This ended up being a great story with more twists and turns than Hulk-damaged Iron Man armor.

Painkiller Jane #2 (Icon)
Infinite Speech: This series continues to be great and I’m going to want more of the 22 Brides real soon!

Rocket Raccoon #2 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Not digging the ex-brigade but loved the return of Groot.
Jeff: I love that Xemnu the Titan was in this book.
NickZ: If you enjoyed the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, this book captures everything great about it. Not only does Skottie Young make some damn pretty art, but he writes some hilarious s***!

She-Hulk #7 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Like seeing Hellcat and Jen out of their element and talking through things as they fight things while tiny.

superior spiderman 32The Superior Foes of Spider-Man #14 (Marvel)
NickZ: This book is everything you love about Hawkeye on crack. One of the funniest books Marvel currently has on the stands.

The Superior Spider-Man #32 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: I didn’t know how much I missed Spidey/Ock until now and I’m looking forward to Spiderverse even more!
Jeff: I miss Otto. This was a great lead-in to SpiderVerse.
NickZ: Judging by this, Edge of Spider-Verse is going to be soooo good! I can’t wait!

Superman Wonder Woman Annual #1 (DC)
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. Great chapter of the Doomed arc with fun cameo appearances & well-written story.
NickZ: Could Wonder Woman look anymore badass on this cover?

Uber #16 (Avatar)
Martin: 4/5 stars. The stakes for creating new Ubers for both the Nazis and the Allies just keep growing. Interesting scenes with Stalin.

Usagi Yojimbo: Senso #1 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: You can NEVER get enough of Usagi Yojimbo and this issue proves just that!
