Adventures of Superman #14 (DC)
NickZ: Max Landis pens one of the best Superman/Joker/Batman stories ever and Jock’s art is phenomenal!

Alien Legion: Uncivil War #1 (Titan Comics)
Infinite Speech: Very good intro and I’m also glad to see Stroman’s artwork again!

All-New Doop #3 (Marvel)
NickZ: This book is so ridiculous! I don’t get the popularity and appeal of Doop, but it’s still better than X-Force.

All-New Ghost Rider #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: So glad we finally get a very good Ghost Rider title again!
Jeff: I really thought this issue was going to wrap up the Hyde arc. Feels like they’re dragging it out a bit.

amazing spider man 3The Amazing Spider-Man #3 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Felicia hating Pete just seems forced but damn if this wasn’t a good issue
Jeff: Am I the only one who thinks Felicia Hardy is overreacting?
NickZ: Only three issue in and i’m already missing Doc Ock Spidey. Can we all agree that Anna Maria Marconi is the best Spidey girlfriend ever?

Avengers Undercover #6 (Marvel)
Jeff: This series is such a letdown from Arena. It feels very ill-plotted.
NickZ: Dennis Hopeless is doing a such a fantastic job making this storyline believable that I forget who’s side i’m on!

Batman #32 (DC)
Arnab: Honestly, I hated the idea of Zero Year when it started and now I’m sad to see it ending.
Jeff: I wish I understood the cold openings in this book.
Martin:4.5/5 stars. The penultimate issue of the Zero Year arc proves that the year-long saga has been worth it. Awesome art & story.
NickZ: Another Bat-Masterpiece from Snyder, Capullo, Miki, and FCO! Also, the variant cover from Tony Moore and John Rauch was on point!

Batman Eternal #12 (DC)
NickZ: There are so many plot lines going on, but It’s all flowing really well, building to something awesome! Totally wasn’t expecting that character’s return at the end!

Catwoman #32 (DC)
NickZ: It’s fun seeing Roulette and Catwoman playing a game of cat and mouse with each other. I think Roulette is going to learn the hard way that she’s the latter!

chew 42Chew #42 (Image)
Arnab: Chew is everything you need in a comic book.
Jeff: Page 2 of this issue made me guffaw.
NickZ: Between the pet cemetery (read the gravestones) and the flash forward to the final issue, Chew is hands down the most hilariously awesome book ever.

C.O.W.L. #2 (Image)
Infinite Speech: This may not be for me.

Deadly Class #6 (Image)
NickZ: The first story arc was so freaking fantastic! Everyone needs to read this book and get caught up before it returns in September, you don’t want to miss out!

Deadpool vs. Carnage #4 (Marvel)
NickZ: For as ridiculous a premise of a story, this was actually pretty entertaining. Plus, you get to see Deadpool merged with symbiotes, who doesn’t want to see that?

Executive Assistant: Iris #5 (Aspen)
Infinite Speech: Iris has been one of the standout titles from Aspen since she was introduced and continues to be a must read issue after issue!

Fantastic Four #6 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Did Johnny take a dump in the capsule? Because that’s the only explanation for what happened to Ben getting uglier.

The Flash #32 (DC)
Arnab: Dude. Cold dying was great. Not great, great but totally well done.
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. The “Future Flash” scenes are a lot of fun, and the Captain Cold scene is oddly very touching, as is the Wally scene.

Ghostbusters #17 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: Still gonna call these guys when there’s something strange in my neighborhood!

Guardians of the Galaxy #16 (Marvel)
Jeff: The art changes really hurt this otherwise awesome issue.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #14 (DC)
Infinite Speech: She-Ra’s story begins here and THIS is beating out some of the DC regulars when it comes to quality!

invincible 112Invincible #112 (Image)
NickZ: One of the best things about Invincible is that events like this issue could NEVER happen in a Marvel or DC book!

Justice League #31 (DC)
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. Johns’ post “Forever Evil” Justice League is a ton of fun with surprises at every turn & great Mahnke art.
NickZ: The Bruce vs Luthor chess game is the only thing keeping this book even remotely interesting.

Ms. Marvel #5 (Marvel)
Jeff: This is Marvel’s best new character, bar none.

New Warriors #6 (Marvel)
Jeff: As much as I wish it was, this book is just not hitting the right notes.
NickZ: I love that the New Warriors are so off the wall that the Avengers have no clue how to handle them. Hilarious!

Original Sin: Hulk vs Iron Man #1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Tony Startk = Jerk. We already knew that.

Original Sins #2 (Marvel)
NickZ: That Black Knight story was totally dark and I really hope it goes somewhere later.

Outcast #1 (Image)
NickZ: Robert Kirkman has done it again! Believe the hype, Outcast is fantastic! Azaceta’s art is very creepy and sets the perfect tone needed for this story. I’m totally onboard!

Rachel Rising #26 (Abstract Studios)
Infinite Speech: If you haven’t read this series then do yourself a favor and start! It’s been fantastic for 26 consecutive issues!
Jeff: No inch of Terry Moore’s pages are wasted. Every line, every word moves the story forward.

saga 20Saga #20 (Image)
Arnab: I love this book so much. That’s not really a review, but so what. This book is highly recommended.
Jeff: I hate to admit it, but this arc is a real letdown so far. Where the hell are the Will & Lying Cat?
NickZ: Another amazing issue of Saga and what a twisted ending! I never can wait for the next issue.

Savage Hulk #1 (Marvel)
Jeff: Alan Davis’ work has got to be the most consistent over the course of his career. This book is beautiful and a must-read for classic X-Men fans.

Secret Origins #3 (DC)
Martin: 3/5 stars. I think I’m just not the intended audience for something like this. Just seems pointless, but the art is good.

Sex #14 (Image)
NickZ: Sex continues to dive deeper and deeper into the dark, deprived side and I couldn’t be happier! Don’t judge me but Cha Cha and Dolph are my favorite characters in this book.

Skull Kickers #28 (Image)
Infinite Speech: I laughed. I laughed. I laughed again. I’ve been laughing and enjoying myself for 28 issues and I hope to laugh some more.
NickZ: Another hilarious misadventure of Baldy and Shorty and like a million alternate versions of them!

Superman #32 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. A good start to what should be the flagship title of DC’s oldest character. Romita on art is fun & different.

Super Secret Crisis War! #1 (IDW)
NickZ: So the PowerPuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Ben 10, Dexter’s Laboratory, and Ed, Edd N’ Eddy are all brought together by the combined forces of their collective enemies! ‘Nuff Said!

Tomb Raider #5 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: Such a great continuation of the game and things just got real bad for Laura all over again.

Trees #2 (Image)
NickZ: The mysteries of the Trees deepen as we uncover more about this strange world.

Uncanny Avengers #21 (Marvel)
Jeff: Glad to see Kang do a double-switch.
NickZ: If you didn’t see that ending coming then I have some property to sell you down in Florida.

Wolverine #9 (Marvel)
NickZ: Shang-Chi and Iron Fist actually made this issue worth reading. Wolverine on the other hand, can go ahead and die already.

X-Force #6 (Marvel)
NickZ: Hope is Meme? What? Cable is clones? What? Someone put this book out of it’s misery!
