7th Sword #2 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: All the great things in this issue I wanted in the first! Glad things picked up.
Amazing Spider-Man #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Another issue in which Anna Maria steals the show!
Amazing X-Men #7 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends reunion!
Infinite Speech: You got me Marvel…too bad I can’t ask for a refund.
American Vampire: Second Cycle #3 (Vertigo)
Arnab: This book continues to get better and better.
Infinite Speech: There’s still room for great vampire stories and Snyder proves it in this series here!
Artifacts #37 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: Rom is bringing some very nice visuals to this series!
Batman & Frankenstein #31 (DC)
Martin: 3/5 stars. Nice to see more Frankenstein, but the guest-star format’s wearing thin. Time for a regular co-star.
Batman Eternal #7 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Some cool Catwoman scenes, but overall I’m thinking this series might be better to read in trade format.
Batman/Superman #11 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. If you’re reading the “Doomed” storyline, don’t miss this. It wasn’t in the solicitations but it’s integral.
Daredevil #3 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: The Owl is best when he’s dealing with Daredevil, only there.
Elektra #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: I’m going to need this creative team to stay on the book until it’s 100th issue. Thank you.
Flash Gordon #2 (Dynamite)
Infinite Speech: I’m a sucker for a Flash Gordon title so I’ll stick with this one for a bit longer
Forever Evil #7 (DC)
Arnab: It was good and it tied up loose ends, but it wasn’t spectacular enough to warrant the long wait.
Martin: 4/5 stars. My biggest complaint is that it’s been FOREVER since the last issue came out. Haha! But it’s a good conclusion.
Hulk #3 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Glad to see healing is occurring.
Justice League #30 (DC)
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. This is a really fun conclusion to the laborious Forever Evil storyline as well as a good jumping-on point.
Justice League of America #14 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Semi-lackluster finale for a series that had potential but was forced into a Forever Evil tie-in.
Magneto #4 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Not as great as the last few issues but still enjoyable.
New 52 Futures End #3 (DC)
Martin: 3/5 stars. Grifter & Frankenstein background, Mr. Terrific & Firestorm are still jerks, & nothing else much happens.
Original Sin #2 (Marvel)
Arnab: This event is shaping up to be a decent one. Although, I thought the Watcher’s existence was secret-ish, and yet there’s like 20 people investigating.
Infinite Speech: HAHAHAHA! The irony of it all! Talk about hiding in plain site!
Red Hood and the Outlaws #31 (DC)
Arnab: This issue was great. I dig the idea of this trio as an intergalactic band of heroes.
Infinite Speech: I wish all New 52 titles were as good as this one. Because most aren’t anywhere near as enjoyable.
Rocket Girl #5 (Image)
Dr. Bustos: The time stream is holding pretty stable and it seems to be going according to plan. Uh oh.
Saga #19 (Image)
Arnab: That last page gutted me. I hope it isn’t as it appears.
Dr. Bustos: The last page had me make an audible, sad “Aw!”
Infinite Speech: Wow…that first page really just slaps you in the face doesn’t it?!
Star Wars: Darth Maul – Son of Dathomir #1 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: It’s a Darth Maul story so I’m definitely in for the long run here.
Thor: God of Thunder #22 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: I’m glad the Thordottirs are getting into the fight.
Uncanny X-Men #21 (Marvel)
Arnab: I have no idea who is hunting them and that is very exciting.
Infinite Speech: I still haven’t guessed who the mystery villain is.
Velvet #5 (Image)
Martin: 5/5 stars. My “comic of the week.” .@brubaker & .@SteveEpting continue to produce a beautifully illustrated & engaging spy story.
Wolverine & the X-Men #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Taking a break from this title here. Call when it’s great again.
Wonder Woman #31 (DC)
Dr. Bustos: Diana shows her greatest powers off and everything is building up.
X-Men #14 (Marvel)
Arnab: This issue was fantastic really. From start to finish, including the backup feature.
Infinite Speech: The ladies are an official team now and this series is worth reading again!
