CHIRPBANNER1

Bushido #4 (Top Cow)
Martin: Interesting story but pacing is off, and the lack of backgrounds does harm to otherwise strong artwork.

DC Universe vs Masters of the Universe #2 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Superman gets his ass handed to him by Skeletor AND He-Man! This title is fun and you should be reading it!

doctor who 14Doctor Who #14 (IDW)
Jeff: An alien reanimated a dead Wild Bill Hickock? Only in a Doctor Who story!

Executive Assistant: Iris #2 (Aspen)
Infinite Speech: Buccellato and Qualano are making sure Iris is just as good as she was in the beginning!

The Flash #24 (DC)
Arnab: Buccellato and Manapul have been absolutely incredible their entire run.
Martin:The end of the Reverse Flash story arc is a little fast (ha!) but is still great. Gonna miss Buccellato & Manapul.

Indestructible Hulk #14 (Marvel)
Jeff: Two great guest artists on this issue, but a very convoluted story.

Infinity: Heist #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Seriously? This is stronger than most of Marvel’s marquee books!

Justice League #24 (DC)
Martin: Another great tie-in to Forever Evil’s storyline. Cool to read Ultraman’s origins. Love the Black Adam scenes

Justice League Dark #24 (DC)
Martin: Great art & a decent story for DeMatteis’ 1st JLD writing. New 52 Constantine is tough to write.

Kiss Me, Satan #2 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: Ninja skeleton warriors, werewolves, and someone gets their head blown away! Great issue!

knowledge 1Knowledge #1 (AAM/Markosia)
Infinite Speech: Definitely a creepy read that deserves your attention.

Marvel: NOW What?! #1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: All those jokes we say about Marvel on the internet? Well they’re reading them and putting them in this funny issue here!

Nova #9 (Marvel)
Jeff: Well, that chick ended up not being much of a threat after all.

Other Dead #2 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: Stop overthinking it and just have fun with the zombie animals!

Rat Queens #2 (Image)
Infinite Speech: Weibe & Upchurch are on fire with this series!

Samurai Jack #1 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: Everything about the cartoon is all wrapped up in this fantastic first issue!

Savage Wolverine #10 (Marvel)
Jeff: This arc just isn’t doing much for me at all.

Secret Avengers #10 (Marvel)
Jeff: What happened to the Mockingbird story? This issue had nothing to do with anything!

sex criminals 2Sex Criminals #2 (Image)
Arnab: This book is a fucking good time. It’s entertaining, the art is fantastic, and you should definitely be reading it.
Infinite Speech: A lot about Jon but now I want to get to the action!

Star Wars: Legacy #8 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: Nothing seems to be going right for the good guys in this era.

Talon #12 (DC)
Martin: Skipping an issue for Villians Month doesn’t help. Many confusing plot points. Batman appearance? Sebastian is back?

Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man #28 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Holy CRAP! That full page of Miles is just awesome! Marquez is a beast!
Jeff: How great would it be if these were the Ultimate New Warriors?

Uncanny Avengers #13 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Everything is Wolverine’s fault! That’s what he gets for being in all of those titles at once!
Jeff: Wanda and Simon finally get some sexy time.

Velvet #1 (Image)
Infinite Speech: I was late to the party but so glad I came! I’m hooked on Velvet!
Jeff: A secret agent story from the point-of-view of a badass “Moneypenny” character.
Martin: Absolutely amazing. Fantastic art backs up a really fresh spin on the well-trodden spy thriller. I’m definitely hooked.

Wolverine & the X-Men #37 (Marvel)
Arnab: Go team Cyclops! Wolverine is an idiot. The Beasts are all annoying. Jean and Xavier are the worst.
Infinite Speech: So glad this event has taken a turn for the better! Poor Deadpool.
Jeff: This story lost it’s way somewhere. Too many characters, No real plot. And the art is atrocious.
