DC Previews: JLA: Crisis on Two Earths Animated Movie Trailer

For those of you who miss Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, prepare to get a bit of relief February 23, 2010 as Justice League:  Crisis on Two Earths comes home on DVD and Blu Ray! The inspirations for this story are the Grant Morrison story JLA: Earth 2 from 1999 and JLA #29-30 from 1964. An alternate reality Lex Luthor seeks the aid of the Justice League to help fight against the Crime Syndicate, who are basically evil counterparts of the JLA. They have no problem killing as Luthor is the only living member of the Justice League from his world.  However, there also seems to be a plan by Batman’s counterpart Owlman, that may put the entire universe in danger as well!

Award winning writer Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Static Shock) returns, and the story is directed by Lauren Montgomery and Sam Liu, and produced by Bruce Timm. The film includes the voice talents of Mark Harmon as Superman, Gina Torres as Wonder Woman, William Baldwin as Batman, Chris Noth as Lex Luthor and James Woods as Owlman!

I’m pretty excited about this, and having McDuffie and Bruce Timm on this project is the consistency that I like to see!  Now I know some will be upset that Kevin Conroy, who has been the voice of Batman, isn’t reprising his role, but I’m willing to save the criticism until after we see what Baldwin does. So mark those calendars people and get ready for JLA: Crisis on Two Earths!
